About this deal

The One Paper design of the Deco Pro (Gen 2) is a revelation for creators like us. It’s like an open canvas that’s limitless, allowing our ideas to flow freely and unencumbered. Both pens are nice and the new pen that comes with the v2 Deco is much better than the v1 one. The Huion pen is slightly better than both, a little heavier and it just feels a bit nicer/grippier in the hand The XPPEN 22R Pro employs the latest innovation and technology to deliver an enhanced drawing experience. And I forgot to mention something in the review- The shortcuts assigned to pen buttons are common towards all programs not specific to individual programs. That might be a con for multitaskers. The XPPEN 22R Pro Drawing Monitor is a new powerful tool for users seeking a high-quality graphics display for their creative endeavors.

Final note - Being so accurate, seamless and fast it's a marvellous drawing tablet at this price point. Beginners can blindly go for this and I recommend professionals to try this tablet you will definitely love it to have as your secondary tablet, or perhaps take up your primary tablet's position. It's that good trust me! Along with its large 21.5-inch display, the Artist 22 2nd Gen has also been designed to provide as comfortable a viewing experience as possible. Designed as a sturdy and ergonomically friendly stand that prevents shaking and sliding which can occur with other displays. Along with support for Android 6.0 and above, the tablet is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Chrome OS. It also supports work with Linux. The tablet itself works with several different programs that you can use with it. Some of these include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketchbook, GIMP, and more.

Overview

The spacious 15.4-inch large screen of The XPPen Artist Pro (Gen 2), boasting a full HD resolution of 1920x1080p, offers an enchanting canvas where every stroke comes to life in incredible detail. The potential that the Artist 22 2nd Gen pen display can offer you is limitless. Let’s take the pen display out of the box and go over some of the features that make it stand out. HD IPS Display

The macros can record a sequence of inputs, which can be useful if there's pairs of commands you want to use at once. I find this quite useful for combining the center and mirror actions in Krita. You will likely need customizations to hotkeys or settings will be necessary for the best experience. If you want a screen, either so you’re directly looking where you’re drawing, or think this functionality will be useful, the XP-Pen Deco 01 V2 certainly isn’t for you. That transformation continues with its responsiveness. The initial response rate, now reduced to 90 ms, has heightened our connection to the canvas, making our ideas translate onto the screen almost instantaneously. Moreover, accuracy has seen a significant leap—20% to be exact—ensuring that every stroke is reproduced exactly as envisioned.Unfortunately the Huion driver does not offer the option of changing the activation pressure of the tablet, just adjustment of the pressure curve (how the tablet interprets pressure after activation pressure has been reached). I don't believe it can be fixed or adjusted via drawing software either, though I think some drawing software (Photoshop, Krita, Corel, etc) might allow you to adjust your tablet to have a higher activation pressure if you want it (just not lower). Better drivers (though it doesn't allow you to set a minimum pressure). More stable, interacts with Krita better It supports Windows 7 (or later), macOS 10.10 (or later), Android 6.0 (or later), Chrome OS 88 (or later), iOS (with specific apps), and Linux (via cable or Bluetooth Dongle). Its special features include an Upgraded Ergonomic Design and 16K Levels of Pressure, making it an indispensable choice for pro artists and the like. Precise Stylus degrees Tilt support]: Stylus supports 60 degrees of tilt and is also equipped with automatic line correction and intelligent anti-shake function to create the best drawing experience.

The XP-Pen is smaller and lighter than the Huion, but with the same drawing surface size. This is nice for travel and also allows you to place your computer about an inch closer when drawing. The Huion has 12 buttons to XP-Pen's 8. The buttons feel fine on both, I never had a button fail on my v1 Deco01. We especially love its shortcuts to match preferred software, streamlining workflow and boosting productivity.Experience uninterrupted inspiration with the Deco Pro (Gen 2) Series, which boasts an impressively long-lasting battery life. Drawing tablets aren’t for everyone – this kind of sketching tool doesn’t have its own screen, so you’ll have to rely on your computer or laptop. Learning to draw on one device, but look at another, can take some work, though it eventually feels natural. No hover lag. While my old tablet had hover height of 7mm this one has 10mm and I can clearly see the difference. Active area size is rectangular and perfect for modern monitors. It's ideal for one regular led monitor upto 30 inches size or two small montiors upto 13 inch each or one 18:9 to 21:9 flat/curved monitor. It has custom active area adjustment btw.
