If you have a dual fuel system it is strongly recommended that you chooseprofessional installation. Pull the thermostat wires through the hole in the steel plate. Then secure the plate to the electrical box with two of the included short screws.

Note:Only one of the wires that go into theconnector (HUM,DEHUM,E,W 3) can be connected to the Nest Learning Thermostat.
