Some people have mentioned that Lemon Line smells like cleaning product or dishwasher liquid. While the scent is pleasant, it can be a bit synthetic and lemony for me to use it as a fragrance. I think I need something to round off the citrus, as this can become a citrus lemon bomb with a bit of sweetness. I was rather disappointed at the first test. I wasn't enthusiastic about the 2-3 test, but this fragrance is pleasant to wear and a nice companion for everyday life. This fragrance is especially recommended for people who like classic fragrances. Citric fragrances with autehnic lemon in the foreground a la Acqua di Parma, Eau Sauvage and similar.

Actually, there’s a slight tartness from the grapefruit, and it makes the opening different from other citrus-based colognes. After that, the bright citrus vibe will make way for the exotic floral heart notes like ylang-ylang, Jasmine, Rose, and Violet. With Lemon Line Mancera has created a citrus fragrance with a classic touch, which, however, does not look old-fashioned and from the time fallen. If you’re familiar with one of the most famous men’s Cologne “Rojas Elisilam,” you’ll get an idea about how beautiful the opening is. In the dry-down, you’ll get a rich blend of jasmine and patchouli. After that, the tobacco notes will start to project along with some woody notes and vanilla.

I prefer Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche for some depth and roundness or an offering from Atelier Cologne, but this is a matter of personal preference. If I had to choose from Mancera, I would just go with Cedrat Boise since I favour its fruitiness and mellow sweetness. The sweetness of Lemon Line feels like candy.

The performance is also very good. Especially for lemon. In this area I found a lot of grottige performance. Very good here. Lasts many hours with pleasant Sillage. But it only gets better in the dry-down. I was pleasantly surprised by this cologne’s lush and sweet heart lead by precious amber, Indonesian patchouli, Egyptian jasmine, and Moroccan Rose. This is a fresh and fruity cologne, and it projects a sensational masculine vibe around you after applying.Mancera Cedrat Boise is probably the best cologne from the house, according to the cologne community. Cedrat Boise is one of the most favorite colognes among men. Now to the fragrance: It starts with a very strong and intense lemon. Just lemon and nothing else. Later it becomes slightly creamy. This is the phase I like best. After a short time it becomes slightly bitter/spicy and sweet. I also feel the scent as a little powdery - powdery sweetness quasi. I can't even smell the white flowers. Lavender is listed, but in my opinion it is only "beige vegetables". The musk is rather shy with me. Ultimately it remains a sweet effervescent lemon scent with some cabbage. This sugary effervescent lemon can actually become a little annoying in the long run. And here we are on the shelf life: This is enormous for a citrus scent, on the skin it loosely lasts eight hours. Also the Sillage is not to be despised and in contrast to many other perfumes in this category extremely good.
