The next thing to do is set up the board – which is actually 9 board tiles randomly set out in a 3×3 grid. The right side has the Looney Laboratories logo, the Fluxx ® text logo, and the art from the Milk Keeper. They have given away cards such as Composting and Jackpot, which later appeared in EcoFluxx and Family Fluxx respectively.

This may be the best-designed Fluxx set in some time, and it can be a lot of fun for casual fans to try to achieve the thematic victory conditions.

Fluxx is different to standard card games as the rules and conditions for winning are constantly changed throughout the game.

Mingle with Munchkins, make new friends, and follow the Yellow Brick Road to see the Wizard – but keep a bucket of water handy: you never know when you might need to melt a Wicked Witch. Follow the wild-eyed Poet, the obsessed Artist, and the expeditions of the Professor, as they investigate Eldritch Secrets no mortal was meant to discover. The new style version has capitalization differences for card titles, and oddly had two cards replaced with different versions: Taxation!
