Note: If you hardwire your Ring Video Doorbell (1st Generation) and Ring Video Doorbell 2 (both of which have been discontinued), you will be able to hear your in-home chime but it is not possible to control it from the Ring app. It can–with a Ring Protect, an optional subscription that allows you to view, save, and share video.
