For those looking for high intensity workouts though, it is hard to beat the IC400 Pro and when combining it with a heart rate strap and a third party app – it is hard to beat. That being said, we can’t ignore the solid and robust structure of the IC400 Pro. It has a sleek profile but exhibits a promising durable frame. The IC400 does come with built in wheels, so you can scoot it from place to place, but steps or any vertical distance is going to be impossible to navigate if you’re moving it on your own. The IC400 Pro is solid and reliable JLL provides a 12-months warranty on the JLL IC400 Pro bike. However, according to a few customers and us too, the warranty period should have been a little longer. And like most other brands, there should have been separate warranties for the parts and the frame.

There are two models of the IC400 and the Pro is the top level model sitting just above the Elite model in terms of price and functionality. JLL are a UK based fitness equipment manufacturer and they have developed a good reputation for building equipment that is highly functional and built to last. The IC400 Pro is no exception to that and the first time you see it you will be able to get a good grasp of the high build quality and skilled workmanship that has gone in to its creation. You will find adjustable magnetic resistance that provides a good degree of challenge for users of all levels and this is one of the key distinctions between the IC400 Pro and Elite models – with the slightly less well spec’d Elite model having friction based resistance (which can lead to more wear and tear over time) as well as a less heavy duty flywheel. If you are considering a JLL spin bike then the IC400 Pro is the best of the bunch in terms of pure specs – but how does it fair in reality – we will get on to that shortly.The centre console is fairly small compared to some other models but it displays all the key stats that you would expect to find as well as heart rate which can be measured by the pulse rate sensors that are built in to the handles. The console also syncs up to third party apps such as iConsole using bluetooth and adds an extra layer of functionality to the bike. I was pleased to find that the JLL IC400 Pro indoor exercise bike comes with a tablet and a water bottle holder. The tablet holder is great for helping me to stay entertained during my longer workouts. Users mentioned that it can hold most devices. I like being able to set the tablet up and watch a TV show or my favourite films to keep me going. JLL has also made sure to create the tablet holder with a sturdy design. I found that I wasn’t worried about my tablet slipping out of the holder while I was cycling.

The IC400 Pro sits pretty much at the top of the tree in terms of the JLL range and although it is the most expensive model they make, it still compares very favourably on price when compared to competitor models with similar levels of functionality and build quality. During the warranty period, JLL Fitness Ltdwill at no additional charge replace the part(s) or repair the treadmill (at JLL Fitness option) if it becomes defective, malfunctions or otherwise fails to conform with this warranty under normal, non-commercial, personal, family or household use. In repairing the treadmill, JLL Fitness may replace defective parts or at the option of JLL Fitness, use serviceable used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance. All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty will become the property of JLL Fitness Ltd. All aspects of the IC400 Pro that you would expect to be adjustable are so. The handlebar height has a good range of height as does the seat. You can also alter the distance that the seat sits from the handlebars which is a standard feature on indoor studio bikes.
