Melt the butter either on the stove or in the microwave. Mix flour with baking powder. Heat the milk so that it is lukewarm but not hot. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, lukewarm milk, sugar, and salt. Stir in the flour mixture with the baking powder. You should get about 6 slices out of each apple. After you have peeled the skin off, slice them and using a small round cookie cutter cut out the core. If you have an apple corer go ahead and use it!
