About this deal

way, way too many oral sexy times. Really, I just wanted them to do the deed already. Scene after scene of oral sex got super annoying - all I could think was: you’re grown adults, you want each other, just get it on already - geez. And what 35 yo man is down for some dry humping? Is she serious with this? Are these mc’s supposed to be 16? So there you have it. I haven’t written this much in a review in a while lol, but I really was disappointed - and mostly annoyed, but I did finish this hot mess. the name huxley. is this even a real name?? i like him but that name is basically like being blonde and having a mullet and a moustache. and somehow worse. Peterpaul, Robert (June 21, 2021). "Meet Cute Movie Reportedly Eyes Kaley Cuoco & Pete Davidson To Star". Screen Rant . Retrieved August 25, 2021.

Lottie needs a rich husband and Huxley needs a fake fiancée… they are a perfect match from the start. It gives us totally modern Pretty Woman vibes while still being so authentic. You’ll love how he completely reimagined this story while still giving us the familiar aspects we all love about this movie. Lottie and Huxley are so perfectly written, you’ll love them both. I’ve said this with every new release from Meghan Quinn this year, but she is on fire with her books. I don’t know how she keeps managing to release such unique, amazing romances one right after the other, but I’m here for it! I have loved every one I’ve read this year and that includes A Not So Meet Cute. Lottie. She’s a horrible person in the beginning of this book (see reason #2). She selfish, hostile, immature (she should be 23, not 28): and is a toxic individual. I avoid people like her irl, and I most certainly don’t want to read about someone like her as a fmc.

Nothing like what I'd write. It's like they took the tragic and dark subject matter I actually wrote about and said let's turn it into a Hallmark movie. Nothing wrong with that, and I'd love Hallmark to let me do a Halloween Romance one day … because, come on, dark romance is Halloween! The Nightmare Before Christmas, anyone? Anyway, I digress. It's lukewarm LeTeisha, at best, and I'll give you a better example. WARNING: Please note that this article also contains spoilers and profanity. The spoilers are not intended to keep you from reading the book but rather to inform you and encourage you to read the book if the content is something you enjoy. Any profanity found in this post is also found in the book. TL;DR Lottie meets Huxley while he’s wandering around a rich neighborhood (looking for a rich husband, how to do it), and she’s desperate too. The two discover that maybe they can help each other, and that’s the basis for their not-so-sweet encounter. But as the two spend time together, their arguments intensify and there seems to be a fine line between love and hate. the banter between these two characters was amazing. There’s no denying that they weren’t each other’s biggest fans in the start, but they always had the tension between them. And slowly as the relationship unfolded they literally sounded like best friends. I’m a total Huxley x Lottie stan.

huxley: another mmc whose love language is acts of service… i am sold. in the first chapter he didn’t let his assistant go get him lunch because he was well capable of doing that and he loves to walk made me smiling in the first place, but when he lied about his fiancee was pregnant, he instantly felt disgust towards himself because he thought about all the women who tries to get pregnant but just can’t.. it was such a thoughtful mindset, i loved him in that second. relating to a male character is not something i experience a lot but the duality he went through, wanting to be the best but getting anxious when he gets compliments was something that i can feel so deeply. even though he was scared to open himself to lottie, he was never disrespectful or close to communication, he always stated that he wants lottie to tell him when she feels uncomfortable and made sure she is comfortable around him.

Sister, Kelsey and brothers JP & Breaker were wonderful and I can't wait to read the rest of the series that follow them. Push/Pull: Yes They both push away at times and I’d say the H is the main pursuer of the relationship Huxley attempts to sign a deal, a very profitable one, and makes the mistake of lying, saying that he has a fiancée who is also pregnant, as is the investor he is trying to get to sign the deal (he has a pregnant fiancée). . . He now has little time to find a fake fiancée who is pregnant. Lo and behold, Lottie butts into her life, and she agrees to sign a deal as long as she gets something out of the deal (she’s poor and needs her student loans paid off and a plan of action for the business she’s starting with her sister). I enjoyed her outline of her possible contract with Chipotle lol. Rosa, Christopher (August 12, 2021). "Kaley Cuoco Just Debuted Some Chic Blunt Bangs". Glamour . Retrieved August 25, 2021. Overall, LeTeisha Newton's content creation revolves around her passion for writing romance novels that resonate with readers, offering them emotional and captivating stories of love and personal transformation.

I really thought i would like it but i'm mostly bored and annoyed. Nothing is working for me. I don't like a single character. Lottie is immature, annoying and so over the top, i don't find her funny at all. A lot of her actions are stupid or make no sense. Her sister Kelsey annoyed me too, always on Huxley's side and not her sister's, which is supposed to be funny but it's not. Huxley is the typical rude rich guy who thinks the world revolves around him, nothing new here. I'm 40% in and where is the chemistry? that fake fiancee goodness and sexual tension? nowhere to be seen... And the steam dear sir! From the robe against the wall scene, the rain canopy scene, the Fleetwood Mac jet scene, the shower, and the sleepover scenes jeeeezus, this book was great. Sure smex happens at 74% but I did NOT feel the slow burn. So much tension satisfied me. I love how Lottie brings out the alpha side of her…gah…and her dirty mouth. How she manages to have a reasonable conversation while she criticizes Lottie is beyond me. It was not only a cute book but it was HILARIOUS. Also Huxley Cane, oh my….. he was EVERYTHING. I loved him and Lottie together so much. We're talking about living in a mansion, intimate double dates, and pretending we were head over heels in love . . . and engaged. Can you imagine? The story follows Huxley, a guy who is married to his job. There's never been anything more important in his life than work, especially since he's in business with his brothers. So when a deal seems to be slipping through his fingers, Huxley lets loose a few lies in an act of desperation. He claims to be engaged with a baby on the way, when that couldn't be further from the truth. Unsure how to handle the predicament he's gotten himself into, Huxley's guard is down when he meets an unusual woman. Lottie meets Huxley while wandering through a rich neighborhood (looking for a rich husband, as one does), and she's also feeling desperate. The two discover that they might be able to help each other out, and that's the foundation of their not so meet cute. But as the two spend time together, their clashes begin to escalate - and there seems to be a fine line between love and hate. When It Falls Apart by Catherine Bybee: Review, excerpt, interview with the author, and a giveaway! The crazy antics they get involved in while trying to pull off their ruse had me laughing out loud. The ribbing Huxley receives from his brothers is also entertaining. I really hope they get their own books. I could see JP hooking up with Lottie’s sister, Kelsey. what i mean by acts of service was; him giving lottie his best car so she can travel between the houses of her family easily, sending the pictures of jeff’s (lottie’s step father) garden to garden committee so they can win the best garden prize, sending flowers to lottie’s mom to congratulate her, arranging his whole work schedule so kelsey (lottie’s sister) can present her business to him.. he cares about lottie, and lottie cares about those people, so he made his business to keep them all happy. he also sent meals and desserts for the families of the workers who has been wounded in one of his buildings; he is incredibly kind and thoughtful. he even remembered that one of lottie's wishes was to lay in rain, so the second it rained he took her to roof and laid down in rain with her. he even took her to her favorite artist’s concert, how can you not love him when all he does is showing he cares about her? But next thing I knew, I was scarfing down free chips and guac, listening to this man lay out all of his problems which led to his big ask . . . he wanted me to be his Vivian Ward, you know, from Pretty Woman--minus the frisky behavior.
