About this deal

there are so many amazing new characters in this book but also cameos and joyous future updates from our favorite couples. i’m DYING so isaiah and kennedy’s story. he was so so funny. but please, liz, god, mother nature, WHOEVER is listening, i NEED monty to have a story… preferably with me 🤪

As a high-end pastry chef who recently won the most prestigious award in my industry, I’m desperate to prove I deserve it. But with a new title comes new pressure, and I can’t create a fresh and inspiring dessert to save my life.I’m happy to say that I very much loved this book. I connected to the characters right away, felt like they were fully formed and complex, I loved their banter, their chemistry, I loved the build up and the way the whole story developed - I really think it was done very well and I had a great time reading it. The found family in this book was so comforting, I love Ella and all the Madison’s and how they took in and treated Zanders as their own! I've been a flight attendant for years. I thought I'd seen it all, but when my new job lands me onboard working for the most egotistical and self-righteous diva in the NHL, I start to second guess everything. Including the promise I made to myself of never hooking up with an athlete again . . . no matter how annoyingly tempting he may be. tell me why i didn't write a proper review for one of my favorite reads this year? idk but im fixing that, so here's a horribly written review 😔 Miller + Kai + Max = everything. The romance between the couple is perfect, the relationship between Kai and his son was the most beautiful and heartwarming, and don’t even get me started on the bond that Miller develops with Max. It’s the best thing ever. When Max finally gets her name out, and instead of Miller its Mama he’s trying to say… I bawled honestly this is everything I want in a romance. I’ll take no criticism with this book it’s as close to perfect as they come.

She might need a reminder that she’s working for me, but I’ll make sure she understands. I’m petty that way. I’ll remember that little interaction for as long as she’s on my airplane.” Miller Montgomery needs a break. Kai Rhodes needs a nanny. Just one summer. That's all. At least that's what they think. Caught Up was the perfect book for me. It had so many things I love in it. Single parent and nanny, the cutest kid ever, sports romance, baking (one of my favorite hobbies after reading), and all the emotions I love and crave in romance. Liz Tomforde has not just one (The Right Move is my #1 favorite book of 2023) but two books in my top favorites of 2023 because this one will be high up on the list! this sums up how i feel abt this and every other single dad book out there and yes it’s totally rational. only thing is unlike the fmc i wouldn’t go anywhere near that mess. unless it was put for adoption or something. she was too nice to them imo

Because with Miller Montgomery, my coach's daughter, standing in my kitchen looking like that, I'm afraid something very dangerous has already gotten in." first of all, can we just appreciate his full name “malakai” for a minute ughh, it’s so hot istg. this man is the definition of a good man, and a good dad. he was funny, reliable, respectful, responsible, etc. total dilf material, just saying. he was always so scared and nervous about not being a good enough father for his son (he was literally perfect). and the way this man treated miller was literally perfect, even tho he fell completely in love with miller, he never begged her to stay, he wanted to tho but he never did, because he didn’t want her to give up her dream job, because of him. and for not to talk about this man’s communication skills, omfg it’s so hot when a man can communicate very hard to find in real life btw. he literally helped miller take off her make-up because she was drunk, he literally ASKED if he could help take off her make-up blushing and giggling omfg. i could write a book about how perfect this man is, but i won’t so i’ll stop my rambling now. But that’s how good Liz’s writing is, no matter how many times you’ve read her books, it’s different every time. Liz knows how to convey all the emotions in her books to you. There are times when you are happy, angry, laughing and sometimes you just cry because of the pain his character conveys in his stories.
