Hedge banks and woods are full of violets: dog violets, early dog violets, hairy violets. From nowhere, they have materialised everywhere; as if from memory, they return through a whiff of sweet violet that conjures something mysterious from long ago, something ephemeral to be forgotten again when the noise of life shouts them down. Sweet violets were used in herbal medicine to treat ailments such as headaches, depression and insomnia. Despite these issues, “Violet Is Nowhere” does come with its fair share of positive aspects. For example, the book is highly descriptive and relatable. Additionally, some readers have found the story surprisingly soulful and thought-provoking. Violet is a psychiatrist at the Oceanside Wellness Centre. Though she tells her patients that "happiness can be attained with focus", she fails to find any happiness in her own life and she even questions the usefulness of her chosen profession. Six months previously, her boyfriend Allan had ended their romantic relationship, devastating her. The situation was made worse when she ran into Allan in a supermarket, only to discover that he married a younger woman only a few months after their break-up. This has shaken Violet badly and she continues to telephone Allan as she tries to deal with their dissolved relationship.

Another notable aspect of “Violet Is Nowhere” is the way it maintains a clear and neutral tone throughout, allowing readers to fully immerse in the story without feeling manipulated toward a specific conclusion. Gilbert who believes that Violet's life has been ruined because of him reads her heart wrenching letter. After believing for so long that he ruined her, He learns that he was the one who gave her hope and light when she had no one to look up to. This sudden realisation shifts his ideal and he calls out to Violet. In the Season 4 premiere Pete pops the question after a morning of passion. Later the same day Violet announces to their friends that she and Pete are getting married...that following weekend. She asks Cooper to be her maid of honor, but his objective side meddles to such a degree that seeds of doubt are planted in Violet's head and she proceeds to bolt from the ceremony. Pete follows her and without saying a word, he convinces her to take a leap of faith and the two finally get married. Violet later discovers that she is being sued by former patient Katie Kent and in the season four finale she gets her license suspended. Against Pete's wishes, she decides to leave town on a book tour. Part mystery/thriller, part romance, and part futuristic sci-fi, Violet is Nowhereis a thought-provoking, darkly comedic novel that I plowed through in just a couple of days. The characters are so real, so alive—with their messy lives and fatal flaws and complex emotions and hilarious quirks—that I can’t help but feel deeply for them, both good and bad. I laughed out loud. I gasped with each discovery they made. I shared in their fear and joy and hopelessness.It doesn't undo her Auto memory doll operation either. With telephone coming into the world there is no need for Dolls to function in telesis. We are told that Violet continued to write letters in the place where she stayed with the Major. I absolutely loved Amen, Maxine and am so excited to feature the second installment of the Jolvix Episodes by Faith Gardner – Violet is Nowhere. With new characters and an entirely different side of Jolvix, this novel can be read as a standalone. There is a slight nod to Maxine for those of us who have read it and finding that little Easter Egg brought a smile to my face. One of the strong points of the book is its unexpected and thought-provoking narrative. Many readers highlighted that the storyline was far from what they initially anticipated, offering an interesting and mind-altering roller coaster experience. Another strength of the novel is its relatability, with a few readers finding the descriptive language effective in painting vivid images in their minds.
