She now has more than a dozen works to her name across several series and single-standing novels. There was always someone’s secret to uncover, so the reader is never bored. I thought the ending was just the right amount of surprising without being over the top or unbelievable. One of the Girls took me by surprise. I loved this. It's not perfect, no, but it resonated with me in so many different ways. I was absolutely captivated by these women.
Ho-hum....another book with girls in the title where the girls are off to an exotic location where everyone has a secret, someone dies and everything is resolved. I definitely would recommend this to any Reader who enjoys a lot of deep drama in their stories. We're talking interpersonal relationships so mired, you wonder why the characters are even friends. Personally, I love that. As usual Lucy's books are set near the sea and this one sees Lexi and 5 of her friends heading to the Greek island of Aegos for her hen party to celebrate her upcoming wedding.

Then there is the future sis-in-law, she's awkward. Of course there's tension with Robin. Bella and Robin have been estranged since that incident in high school. And why is Fen acting so remote? Picturesque scenery and azure bue water so stunning that I felt as if I was on an exotic vacation while reading this. The warm temperatures - both ocean and air - were balm for the dark days of winter and I couldn’t help imagining myself floating in tranquility. One of the Girls follows a group of women on a hen weekend for Lexi. But there are many hidden secrets among the women, will they all make it home safely?
