Sunny L19/01/2023Top notch keyboard. I have 2 now. One that is portable for work, and one for home use. Pedro10/06/2020Im a software engineer and had this keyboard for almost 10 years, using it at work. It is still fully functional, after HEAVY use. I really like the look of the Skull model. The luminous green looks fantastic when it’s dark. I also like the other little styling touches, such as the bright pink indicator LEDs. The brushed metal FILCO logo on the top right hand side fits in with the rest of the colours, it looks pretty much perfect in my opinion. Water Damage You can buy a keyboard with more features for less money and you can also spend a lot more money than I did on this already expensive keyboard. Personally, media buttons, flashy lights and macros don't add value to me so I wasn't bothered with them. If you want a specific keyboard for gaming with macros and other gaming specific keyboards then this probably isn't for you. If you type things for a living then this is the perfect keyboard for you.

The board is quite inclined even without the feet extended, which may not be to everyone's taste. The key surface also sits quite high compared to other (non-mechanical) keyboards I've used - I found I needed to lower my desk surface about 1cm to be comfortable and I may need to get a wrist rest. Cherry profile keycaps, such as the ones used by GMK, are known for having issues with the north-facing LEDs found on most gaming keyboards. As we have mentioned earlier, Filco’s keyboards have a minimalistic design and do not feature RGB. While this isn’t a deal-breaker for most consumers, some may wish to have some sort of lighting for their keyboard. FILCO are renowned for their excellent build quality and this keyboard is really built like a Challenger 2 tank. This is probably the most solid overall feeling keyboard I’ve ever tried.

I already have an Evoluent mouse and was trying to improve the ergonomics even further.All new PBT Double Shot keycaps are fitted as standard on Majestouch 3! They come with the FILCO original font design and legends that never fade. The other new addition to the Majestouch 2SS is the Cherry MX Speed Silver switches. These have a 1.2mm actuation point and 3.4mm keystrokes, and they are considerably faster than other linear Cherry MX switches making them ideal for gaming. The rigid case construction gives a sure and comfortable typing experience with a specially designed font, for better visibility and a stylish and long lasting appearance. The sound it makes is incredible. It may take time getting used to having to lift your fingers up and also being assertive when hitting keys. You will only have this problem if you were using a sh!tty keyboard before.

The MX brown switches are perfectly fine for office work. They are noticeable, yes, but they never get too loud. I have added red O-rings to make the key strokes a bit gentler and it worked out perfect! I spoke with Bruce who was most helpful and didn't try to hard sell any particular keyboard. I thought I’d destroyed a perfectly good keyboard as it stopped working immediately, it also caused some crazy things to happen with my PC such as opening programs on it’s own and eventually shut it’s self down. Enjoy yourself with this real keyboard. And lastly, it is compatible with both PS/2 and USB. Using it over PS/2 allows users to maximize its N-Key rollover potential. Overall, the Filco Majestouch 2 is the closest thing users will get to an endgame prebuilt keyboard that works perfectly for any task. I prefer red switches as in my opinion, it’s a great middle ground between typing and gaming performance. The Ninja comes with 2 sets of Windows keys 1 set top printed, 1 set front printed, and a key puller to help you change the keys.
