I put on parallel to the Craze the Pegasus for direct comparison and observed how both fragrances develop. Neither in the opening nor in the drydown were at least on my skin to perceive great differences. The durability was even slightly better than that of the Pegasus. This isn't a scent that I find altogether pleasant when I dig my nose into it, especially for the first half-hour or so - but the projection/sillage on this stuff is truly amazing. I have already received two compliments of the "ooh, you smell nice" variety, so I think the trail that Craze leaves more than makes up for the abrasive skin scent. That pungent, cloying metallic note seems only to exist on the skin, not in the air. Later in the wearing, I get whiffs of myself and they make me smile - it's a comforting, cozy, rich (and very sweet) scent. Probably best suited to the colder months, but I could see it working on cooler spring and summer days and nights as well. Seems versatile enough for most occasions - from home, to date, to club. I think there's no doubt that we would clearly rather have Pegasus on our shelves. Let's be honest, that goes without saying where any fragrance enthusiast is concerned. It stands to sense really.. doesn't it? It's got a name, a reputation and a higher price tag.. it's pretty dang obvious we're going to prefer it... but that said, this may not be a bad alternative.. especially for someone who wanted to get in a similar ballpark for a low price.. you basically just have to try it! :smiley: They do have virtually the same ingredients so it’s no surprise there’s a similarity between the two. Almond is there but it is not as present as in Armaf Craze. Armaf has positioned the almond much more prominently and created a more bitter version compared to Pegasus. In addition, Craze has an ethereal smell that immediately reminded me of eucalyptus. I don't know where it comes from but I can feel it clearly for a few minutes. Maybe it's sage in the heart note, although for me it's actually more like eucalyptus. Craze also imitated the metallic note from Pegasus well. Would I recommend to everyone since there will be hardly anyone who does not like him and if so just keep giving. Wear this as a fragrance in its own right, not because you are looking for a fragrance that reminds you of another. It’s affordable and I recommend it for a date night. Conclusion The lemon and verbena in Armaf Tres Nuit are an invigorating, fresh combination. The violet leaves will remind you of freshly cut grass whilst the spices add a hint of warmth. The sandalwood and ambergris add a long-lasting layer that you’ll still get a hint of on your skin the next day. Armaf Shades Wood has a beautiful rose opening that is not out and out feminine. The wood and oud in the base notes add enough masculinity to make this a fragrance that can truly be worn by anyone. The cumin adds a strangely irresistible, attractive animalistic odor.
