About this deal

Depending on the connected control unit, source name may be displayed "EXT-MEDIA", "*-MEDIA" or CD Changer ("CD-CH"etc.). Connect the unit and iPod /iPhone with listed KENWOOD HDMI cable and the Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter, Lightning to USB Cable (accessory of the iPod/iPhone). Digital Time Alignment allows you to digitally delay the closest speakers so that the sound of every speaker reaches your ears at the same time. Connect the unit and iPod /iPhone with listed KENWOOD accessory iPod cable and the Apple Lightning - 30 pin adapter.

So basically what I need to find out, is why the Carplay icon is greyed out. I don't want to have to connect the cable each time, this does work, but this is the latest wireless unit, so I want to use that option. Yes, I am on the lookout for a car stereo with that exact feature. I think the flagship pioneer ones may do this after the initial boot screen but I'm not certain as of yet..When the DNPS function of the center unit is operated, system will restrict title selection or other functions of the iPod for ten seconds. (Will resume in ten seconds.) The Kenwood DMX8020DABS is an advanced car radio with a wide range of features. It boasts a responsive touchscreen and a built-in display for easy navigation and control. The radio supports various bands including AM, DAB, DAB+, FM, LW, and MW, allowing users to tune in to their preferred stations. Anyway, I'm happy with this unit for the foreseeable future, I have best of both worlds, corded and wireless.

Thanks for that, for some reason, the Aussies have loads of videos on Kenwood stereos and helped me decide which one to buy in the first place. Ah, great. Can you tell me more about what and how the Wireless Mirroring for Android works ? I'm trying to determine whether I need the full Wireless android auto, as on the DMX 8020DABS or if my Pixel 4 will work on a Kenwood unit that has Wireless Mirroring option. Glad to hear the screen is better, as that's one of my gripes about the Pioneer unit I have. The UI in the Pioneer isn't fantastic either (better than OEM), so as long as the Kenwood is "as good" then I will be happy, especially if the screen is more responsive.Connect the unit and iPod /iPhone with the attached iPod cable and Apple Lightning - 30 pin adapter. My unit arrived today. Spent my lunch break getting it set up basically, just to get power to it and take a look. This evening after work I will spend some time getting it properly fitted and make sure everything is neat and tidy. Pleased so far though Also...this has a capacitive touch screen am I right? Currently have a Pioneer unit with a resistive touch screen which isn't great if I'm honest. The Kenwood screens do seem superior. You can connect up to 3 camera's to this receiver: a rear camera with parking guideline support, the KENWOOD CMOS-320 (sold separately & controlled via the Camera Link) and a blind view (left/right) camera. The AV-input is assignable as 3rd camera input. Setting of camera type and display switching between 3 cameras can be operated easily via the receiver’s large screen. I think I remember reading somewhere that Google themselves are going to make this happen in a future AA update.
