This document sets out the data sources used in charts, tables and text in the Autumn Statement 2023 document. This should be read in parallel to the references contained in the Autumn Statement 2023 document.

This document sets out how the UK Government funds the devolved administrations and explains the other sources of funding available to them when they set their spending plans. This is the tenth edition of the Statement, which was first published in March 1999Books dedicated primarily to the art of papercutting range from how-to texts and collections of easy-to-cut templates, to books on the history of papercutting and its numerous regional variations around the world. Many papercutters are self-taught and started by cutting out simple pre-printed patterns. Books on the subject of papercutting provided inspiration, historical perspective, and samples. Of course, GAP members also have access to an archive of past Guild publications that provide a wealth of information and examples of various types of papercutting from many different countries. New Crafts: Paper Cutting by Stewart and Sally Walton (Lorenz Books, 2014). This stylish and delightful book contains complete step-by-step instructions for 25 practical projects, plus a brief guide to equipment and materials. It includes an introduction to the craft and its varied history, as as well as examples of the finest contemporary paper cutting. See also their 2005 book, Craft Workshop: Paper Cutting. The cut and fold patterns list all of the marks required for each leaf of the book and by marking, cutting and folding the marks you build up the design. Table 5.1 shows the cost or yield of all government decisions accounted for at Autumn Statement 2023 which have a direct effect on Public Sector Net Borrowing (PSNB) in the years up to 2028-29. This includes tax measures, changes to aggregate Departmental Expenditure Limits (DEL) and measures affecting annually managed expenditure (AME).

Late last year I treated myself to a copy of Paper Cutting by garden – Flowers, Animals and Other Decorating Ideas. I have quite a few paper cutting books but this one looked lovely. This is a collection of essays and short pieces about contemporary papercutters.
