I'm not sure the exact year or product-cycle when the design of this hat changed. But the two hats that I have from around 2017/2018 are way better. The older version has a longer bill that is stiffer, and the hat itself has a larger maximum cinch size.The earflap cap is a great way to keep your ears warm in the winter. It is available in two varieties: one made of a soft, fleece material and one in a denim style. Both are comfortable to wear, and the ear flaps can be folded up when not in use. The Range Earflap Cap is a great option for any winter activity that does not require too much exertion. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a warm and comfortable hat. It’s super comfortable. The Tricot mesh headband is incredibly supple, absorbs sweat well and seems like it will last forever. My hat is now onto its third season. The color has faded, the logo has mostly peeled off but the hat functions like the day I bought it.
