SBM LIFE SCIENCE - CEPC

Provanto Ultimate Bug Killer is a convenient, ready to use insecticide that gives fast-acting effective control of common garden insect pests like Greenfly, Caterpillars, Leaf Beetles, and much more. It can be used both in the home and the garden, on a wide range of ornamental plants, as well as more than 50 different types of crops, all with up to 2 weeks of protection, offering you peace of mind that your plants are free from these garden pests. It used to be much easier in the past with a "one product kills all" such as Malathion. Now there seems to be so many different products all doing slightly different things BTW, both now contain Thiacloprid which is in the same class as Imidacloprid, but is used at a slightly different concentration. Imidacloprid is now out of patent protection and Bayer have been subtly running it down as inferior to Thiacloprid. Wwithout ever saying so explicitly, because that would be untrue You can still get "kill-alls" if you really want to kill things other than the pest that is damaging your plant. They typically contain multiple ingredients, often a fungicide as well as insecticides and acaricides. Seems like an awful waste of your money, plus an unnecessary amount of poisons on your plants and possibly elsewhere ...No need to worry about the hassle of returning faulty or damaged products. Hayes Garden World shall arrange collection, or exchange should it be necessary.

For the discussion of topics related to the conservation, cultivation, propagation, exhibition & science of cacti & other succulents only. Neither product kills spider mites. The aerosol kills spider mites but only because it contains a separate ingredient. Otherwise all Imidacloprid-containing products kill the same things despite what the label can be bothered to list. Use either if you're sufficiently knowledgeable to calculate the correct concentration, otherwise get one with a label that describes the way you want to use it. Just like how the choice in crisps used to be Ready Salted, Cheese & Onion and Salt & Vinegar - now there's hundreds to choose fromDaft question for the chemists out there. I buy sunflower oil for cooking, which is available in almost all food shops, can I dilute that and use it against red spider mites? If so what dilution, plus would I need to add a bit of soap to get it to mix with water for spraying? X Cupressocyparis leylandii - The conifer you either love or hate, is under severe threat - not from suffering neighbours with weedkiller or axes, but from a small aphid which has found a great National Collection Rebutia, Aylostera & Weingartia (inc. Sulcorebutia). Also growing a mixture including Ferocactus, Gymnocalycium, Lobivia, Mammillaria, Lithops, Gasteria, Haworthia.
