The devastation was so real for Alessandra that my heart broke a million times over. Watching Dom’s response to her leaving from thinking what he needed to do to then realising it was actually too late for him broke my heart again into another million pieces. Alessandra sounded so interesting from her small appearances in the previous books, i thought i would absolutely love her and that she would became my favorite FMC of the series. but this book made me realize that she was better as a side character. apart from the fact that she is half-brazilian — and as a brazilian myself, i enjoyed that — there was nothing else about her that i found remarkable. i’m not saying that she’s a bad character; she’s not. she’s just not memorable. which is sad, because i was expecting much more from her.

Aside from her being nice and finally taking a stand for herself after ten years (too late), she had no personality. 😭 I didn't really like Isa's character, but even she had a better personality than Alessandra. No hate, no love, no thoughts, no care.
