About this deal

The length of time it takes to evolve Rizmo depends on how you play with it. You will need to have recorded a minimum of 15 things and collect musical points through play. I managed to evolve mine from baby to kid in 15 minutes, it then took an additional 25 minutes to evolve it into adult mode. However if you fail to interact with it properly while it is evolving then you need to start again. How do you play with Rizmo in kid mode?

When you are ready to stop playing with Rizmo you can swing him to sleep. Don’t forget to turn him off at his base to give him a real rest. I was reluctant to give up my space saver spare wheel so thought I would try this. My megabox is the triangular type so I bought a piece of ply board cut to size then covered with carpet material same as used to line cupboards in motor homes and the like. Spray glue was used for bonding. Covers the megabox perfectly. Spare wheel lives in its bag which has some gloves, cloths and other useful bits for changing a wheel. The boot floor is set to the higher level and the space is just about ok to store the wheel. The wheel could be strapped down which I haven't done yet. The carpet colour is almost perfect. Our Thoughts In this mode hold and swing Baby Rizmo. He will make laughing sounds and even talk to you in his funny language. Sometimes you see the description of a toy and think "that sounds weird, but it's probably just communicated poorly". I'm here to tell you today that Rizmo is exactly as weird as it sounds, and it's glorious. You will know when Rizmo is ready to evolve as his eyes will start to flash different colours. You must place him on a flat surface and give him lots of encouragement to evolve when his eyes turn white. It won’t take long and he will evolve into a kid . Kid Rizmo

I wasn’t sure how little E would react to the baby form of Rizmo. I knew she would think the grown-up version was cute but I wasn’t sure about the younger version at all. It really is just like a ball of fluff. As soon as we took him out of the box she was captivated. This ball of fluff could do things and make cute sounds. It was challenging her to earn points and sing songs. She has never really experienced that with a toy before. We left Rizmo for a little while and me and her younger sister (who is three, fully supervised) to have a play and try and evolve Rizmo to an adult. You repeat the same stages as above to get Rizmo to evolve again. Have you heard of Rizmo? He is a cute musical friend who has travelled very far to get to Earth. He has a love for music and dance but needs help to evolve. I first saw Rizmo when I went to Dream Toys in November. He was announced as one of the top 12 toys this Christmas. Tomy asked if Little E would like to review one and put him to the test. I knew she would love to know what he could do. The Rizmo colours have different meanings. These are quite clear in the Rizmo toy instructions, he has an eye colour chart but here are some details below.Studies have shown that Rizmoic is effective at improving bowel movement in patients who are currently taking laxatives or had taken laxatives in the past. Overall I liked Rizmo. He worked! He’s original and at his current price, he is worth that. He has a lot of loveable characteristics and can be cared for. I like the musical side, as allows children to be creative too.

The instructions were very clear and it was great to see a toy that actually worked and did as the instructions said! It also has different modes, as discussed depending on the eye colour but this wasn’t excessive, so it wasn’t a toy that was too complicated. Rizmo also gets moody when you ignore him. This was pretty funny, as we were watching a film and suddenly he started making all these crazy noises! He looked and sounded sulky! We had to press his button a few times and give him some attention to snap him out of it!! It is tempting to want to pull on him when he is a baby and toddler as parts of him move but don’t open but the instructions says really clearly, do not do this!! So we didn’t. We waited for him to evolve. I think the adult form of Rizmo is really sweet and I liked how he danced and moved about. I quite liked his little sulks too, as he seemed like a little child getting stroppy!! Makes him quite endearing. Once you earn enough music points, its eyes will flash red, green and blue. That's when you need to put it on the ground and start chanting its name so it can evolve. My neighbours probably now think I've joined a cult, but it's worth it.She was fine to play with it, as I explained she couldn’t pull any of the parts and she had to be careful. She was fully supervised and we managed to evolve Rizmo again to the adult form!

After five hours of near constant play, Rizmo's eyes flashed again, and I placed it on the floor for it to reveal its final form. Once the chanting began, Rizmo started twitching, and a little over a minute later it unfolded to reveal its terrifying visage; a larger, colourful Furby, though different enough to be legally distinct.

Rizmo has three forms, baby, toddler and adult. Responding to touch, motion and sound, Rizmo loves getting to know you!
