About this deal

Back in the past, Piggy then said that their Giant Robo-Brontosaurus was parked outside, followed by a lot of laughter. Roan is desperate to become a pilot but instead of attending pilot school he is invited to join the Jedi Academy. Despite his doggy ways, Dog Man is actually terrific at catching the terrible criminals that plague his town, so when Petey tries to engineer a coup to replace the Chief of Police, Dog Man saves the day. He picks up a wrench and smashes it onto the Robo Brontosaurus' tail, breaking it in half and sending Mega Robot Petey flying and crash-landing into a building.

Two hours later, Piggy stops the battle and marches over to Petey, claiming that fighting isn't getting them anywhere. A convinced Li'l Petey hangs up the phone (much to Petey's annoyance), and two hours later, Li'l Petey and Dog Man arrive at Cat Jail to read a book to Petey, who is flattered until he finds out that the book is a collection of Li'l Petey's "poop" knock-knock jokes (which was a running gag in the main plot of the book). It’s the second instalment in the Dog Man story, and evil Petey the cat has unsuccessfully cloned himself, producing a cute kitten, adopted by Dog Man (half dog, half cop). Readers will be outraged by the evil characters, laugh out loud at the slapstick humour and be moved as new unexpected friendships are formed.

Dog Man, created by Captain Underpants’ Dav Pilkey, is a comic masterclass, perfect for the surreal sense of humour of the average six- to nine-year-old. Without these cookies, we won't know if you have any performance-related issues that we may be able to address. With a cute kitten and a remarkable robot by his side, our heroes must save the day by joining forces with an unlikely ally: Petey, the World's Most Evil Cat. Crunky and Bub notice that Lil Petey has caught a firefly and asks them if they want to join in the fun.

However, nobody really knows where the Fleas have gone, and Dog Man ends up itching, while Chief takes Petey back to Cat Jail, despite the fact the Petey was good for the whole book. Chief then decides that rather than crying "'cause they're gonna die" they should laugh "'cause they got to live". Genuinely laugh out loud, it’s exactly the kind of silly humour kids love and are familiar with, while being clever, compassionate, succinct and highly original. Unfortunately, the Dogmobile is about to crash into a factory, so when Dog Man steps on the brake too hard, it sends Chief, Milly, Sarah, and Zuzu flying off the glove, about to smash into the factory. One of the Dogmobile's buttons say, "Weird Al Music", a nod to the Weird Al Yankovic, since he created the theme song for the Captain Underpants movie. Dog Manis a comic masterclass, perfect for the surreal sense of humour of the average six- to nine-year-old. A charming story presented in a variety of forms, including comic strip, diary entries and annotated drawings/notes.
