About this deal

Overall this is a bargain beauty buy well worth adding to your stash, for all skin types. My only gripe is that the bottle is opaque so without unscrewing the pump, it’s harder to tell when you’re in need of a replacement. CeraVe’s latest innovation: the SA Smoothing Cleanser is suitable for dry, rough & bumpy skin. The lightly foaming gel formula gently cleanses and exfoliates the skin without disrupting the skin barrier. It is also suitable for skin with Keratosis Pilaris. The pump is helpful too, as when your hands are wet, you can use the side of your arm to dispense the product without splashing water all over the bathroom floor. AQUA / WATER / EAU, COCAMIDOPROPYL HYDROXYSULTAINE, GLYCERIN, SODIUM LAUROYL SARCOSINATE, PEG-150 PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRASTEARATE, NIACINAMIDE, PEG-6 CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC GLYCERIDES, SODIUM METHYL COCOYL TAURATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, CERAMIDE NP, CERAMIDE AP, CERAMIDE EOP, CARBOMER, METHYLPARABEN, SODIUM CHLORIDE, SODIUM LAUROYL LACTYLATE, CHOLESTEROL, DISODIUM EDTA, PROPYLPARABEN, CITRIC ACID, TETRASODIUM EDTA, HYDROLYZED HYALURONIC ACID, PHYTOSPHINGOSINE, XANTHAN GUM. A foaming gel face wash is ideal for removing excess oil, dirt, and makeup. When choosing a facial cleanser for normal to oily skin, it’s important to look for a formula that's gentle, won’t disrupt your skin’s natural protective barrier (which can leave skin feeling dry or tight), and contains ingredients that help maintain its moisture balance.

For face & body. Suitable for normal to very dry skin. Also suitable for sensitive skin, baby skin & atopic-prone skin. Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health. Foaming cleansers can often strip the skin of moisture and leave it feeling dry, as the foaming agents are high in alkaline and can be too harsh, however this latest launch from CeraVe promises to hydrate, something we were keen to put to the test. It’s very lightweight and instantly softening, and no matter how many times I’ve accidentally got it in my eyes, it hasn’t irritated them. Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).

Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS. At first glance, both cleansers look almost identical, but I put them to the test to see if it’s worth making the switch, looking at texture, efficacy, price and results to see the difference between the two. Aqua / Water / Eau, Niacinamide, Cetyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Propanediol, Isononyl Isononanoate, Jojoba Esters, Peg-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone , Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Asparagopsis Armata Extract, Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Potassium Sorbate, Ceramide EOP, Sorbitol, Carbomer, Zinc Citrate, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Triethanolamine, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Sodium Hydroxide, Equisetum Arvense Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Cholesterol, Phenoxyethanol, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil / Sweet Almond Oil, Tocopherol, Ascophyllum Nodosum Extract, Laureth-4, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Tetrasodium Edta, Maltodextrin, Phytosphingosine, Xanthan Gum, Butylene Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Chrysanthellum Indicum Extract It definitely works best as a morning cleanser or second cleanse in the evening if you like to wear a full face of make-up products. While it was better at removing make-up than the original hydrating cleanser, it still doesn’t completely remove all traces. Of note, the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser does list two parabens on the ingredients label. Parabens are synthetic preservatives that can mimic hormones in the body if they are absorbed through the skin and potentially disrupt functions of the endocrine system. How to use?MVE Technology: This patented delivery system continually releases moisturizing ingredients for all day hydration

Estee Lauder has reformulated its advanced night repair serum, but is it any different? We find out Ceramides make up an important part of the formula and the entire brand for that matter. Put simply, they are lipids, or fats produced naturally by the body that forms a protective layer on the skin barrier to retain moisture, prevent water loss and protect against environmental aggressors like pollution. CeraVe’s Hydrating Cleanser is suitable for normal to dry skin on the face, body and hands. This soap-free, non-foaming lotion gently cleanse the skin while increasing its hydration. I have tried using it to remove make-up, using a flannel to take it off my face once applied, but I find the weightlessness of the formula can’t quite shift my waterproof mascara and fuller coverage foundations, so I often have to go in again to get the bulk of it off my face. The bottle is translucent too, which is ideal for keeping tabs on how much you’ve used and when you need a new one. That said, it does a brilliant job at leaving skin feeling refreshed and smooth when used on a make-up free face in the mornings and evenings. As I have combination skin, typically I tend to avoid foam cleansers, as they can be quite drying, so I was pleasantly surprised at how rich and creamy the lather felt on my skin. It’s easy to rinse off too, leaving no residue.

CeraVe is a brand of dermatologist-developed skin care products can alleviate a range of common skin concerns by starting at the source of the problem: the skin’s natural barrier. The importance of a strong, intact skin barrier can be compared to the importance of having a strong, intact roof on your house. If your roof is damaged or weak, the interior of your home could be damaged by things like rain, wind, or even animal intruders. Similarly, a damaged or weak skin barrier allows things like bacteria, pollutants, or other irritants to pass through the top layers of your skin and cause damage. Ultimately, this leads to common skin concerns such as acne, rashes, and sensitive skin. Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication.

This molecule is naturally found throughout the human body, and it is particularly abundant in the skin. Hyaluronic acid is able to restore hydration to your skin based on its structure as a glycosaminoglycan, a sugar molecule that has a high propensity for attracting water. When hydrogen bonding occurs between adjacent carboxyl and N-acetyl groups, hyaluronic acid has the capacity to retain up to 1,000 times its weight in water! Increased hydration leads to a healthy, firm complexion with fewer lines and wrinkles.
