Please note our public firmware upgrade server is using HTTP.

I'm attempting - like others before - to get the Vodafone VOIP that comes with gigafast with equipment other than the supplied Vodafone router. I've already successfully got my broadband working on a 3rd party Asus router, so I got myself a Grandstream HT801 ATA phone adaptor to attempt to do the same with the phone. Insert a standard RJ11 telephone cable into the phone port and connect the other end of the telephone cable to a standard touch-tone analog telephone. From our assessment of the ATA, setup is easy, as is management. For businesses looking to maximize productivity and efficiency of overall communication – the HandyTone Series will more than suit your interests.

G.711 with Annex I (PLC) and Annex II (VAD/CNG), G.723.1, G.729A/B, G.726, iLBC, OPUS, dynamic jitter buffer, advanced line echo cancellation

In the end, it comes down to your business goals and needs. If you need access to advanced telephony features such as call transferring, forwarding, waiting, do not disturb, ‘message waiting’ indication, and multi-language prompts – I’d recommend giving Grandstream’s HT Series a try. Business can even fax, as well as gain caller ID functionality with the HT Series. Please refer to the user manual for more information about IVR and how to access its menu options. That’s a wrap

The Grandstream HT801 ATA Adaptordelivers powerful VoIP technology and routing capabilities to home and office environments, and allows users to successfully connect their analog devices to a manageable and powerful VoIP network. So I think that I've 95% of it sorted - but need help with the additional 5% to get it to register. I know that when I got my broadband details, the customer services guy who gave them to me failed to tell me that the userid for that required '@broadband.voadafone.co.uk' adding to the value he gave out. Or that the VLAN ID was 911... so there's the possibility that this could be a similar situation. As I mentioned above the SIP user is just 'voi' followed by a string of numbers - so I wonder if there's an '@something.something' to be added on to that. The call waiting tone (3 short beeps) indicates an incoming call, if the call waiting feature is enabled. Note: For UCM63xx, it's recommended to use the latest UCM firmware so it's most compatible with Wave latest versions.

For WP820 hardware V3.0C and V3.1C, once it's upgraded to 1.0.7.66 or higher version, downgrading to 1.0.7.61 or lower firmware is not supported.Make sure that your Grandstream device is factory reset. If not, reset the Grandstream FXS Gateway by pressing and holding the “Reset” button for about 7 seconds.

Note:DP730/DP722/DP720 firmware can be upgraded once the connected DP750/752 base is upgraded to new firmware. The firmware version on DP730/722/720 can be different from the base. Please refer to the release notes for the handset version number. Our review of the adapter series covers key features, advantages, pricing, as well as how to buy. Features of Grandstream’s HandyTone ATA Series Grandstream HT813 Can you tell me how you got your SIP credentials out of tech support? I've called a couple of times, and the front line agent has also gone through to second line, and they've all said they're unable to find or give me the details? To toggle between incoming call and current call, you need to press the “Flash” button. The first call is placed on hold.I’ve got NAT Traversal set up to use a public STUN server ( stun2.l.google.com:19302) - set in the grandstream adaptor With all this, my port status remains unregistered. However - something is working, as I started getting phantom calls from sipvicious (dead air on 100, 1001 etc). So much so that I’ve been in and disabled / enabled the settings mentioned here: If the GXP21xx phone is on firmware 1.0.7.x, please upgrade to 1.0.8.x first, and then upgrade to 1.0.9.x.
