About this deal

Good to hear. But what about fan control? Can you control the max speeds they can spin or can you only change at what speed they should be spinning at? The fan installation can be done in multiple ways, but by default we would recommend having the fans mounted on the bottom of the unit exhausting air up through the radiator towards the outside of the case. If your system is already set up to have sufficient exhaust, then you can experiment with mounting the fans on top of the radiator where they can push cooler air from outside of the case down through the radiator. If you mount the radiator with the fans on the bottom, then it might be easiest to mount the fans to the radiator before installing the radiator into the case, which is what I did for this installation. A powerful all-in-one CPU cooler leveraging revolutionary iCUE LINK technology for easier, faster, and cleaner building than ever before. I did manage to find this - but perhaps you already did too: https://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=839688&p=839688-The RGB Pro XT's pump is CoolIT made Rerouted the USB to a rear port rather than the Node (Node now just controls my RGB strips), same problems.

The increased cooling challenges posed by Raptor Lake mean that we’ve had to change some of the ways we test coolers. Some coolers were able to pass Cinebench R23 multicore testing with Intel’s 12th Gen i9-12900K when power limits were removed (although only the strongest models were able to pass that test). Most liquid coolers and all air coolers I’ve tested “failed” that test because the CPU reached TJ max in this scenario. Most motherboard headers are designed for 1A of power, with the liquid cooling headers usually being 2A. The load temps with the iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT were excellent using the “Extreme” profile, coming in just behind the larger (280 mm) H115i RGB PLATINUM at the same performance preset. “Balanced” results were actually tied between these two liquid coolers, but the “Quiet” preset was not kind to the iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT here, as a more aggressive fan profile is needed with this CPU. Frankly, I don't think the idea that no one here has both coolers and 6 hours to burn for your pleasure is that difficult a concept to understand. Perhaps you should take a moment of pause. For someone who "already knows all that", you have a lot of questions whether you are aware of it or not. I would start by looking at this review of the H100x here. Now it really would have been nice if the reviewer had included the H100i Pro, but they did not. However, it does include the H115i Pro which is the slightly larger 280mm size. You can see the temp differences are a fraction of a degree even between different size units. That then suggests the difference between a same size unit (the 240mm H100i Pro) is going to be essentially non-existent. When it comes to cooler tech, we are all very much limited by the conductivity of the materials (CPU and cold plate) and not so much by small cooler differences.

The advantage to this method is that common loads will not cause the cooler’s fans to reach louder levels. Even when I opened 50 tabs in a row in Mozilla Firefox, the cooler ran as silently as an idle load. While in the past a CPU hitting its peak temperature was cause for concern, enthusiasts are going to have to learn to accept high temperatures as “normal” while running demanding workloads with Raptor Lake and Ryzen 7000 CPUs. Modern AMD and Intel CPUs are designed to run fairly hot without any problems – up to 95 degrees Celsius for AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs, and up to 100 C for Intel’s Core i9-13900K. Similar behavior has been standard in laptops for years due to cooling limitations in tight spaces. wjb3 IF you manage to find a fix let me know. I've recently installed a h100i platinum cooler and 3 days later it still won't be recognised by the iCue software, I've tried everything I can possibly think of and I've come to a dead end.

On the H100x, you will have the pump wire going to one MB connection and the fans to another fan header. You will have full BIOS options, although the pump is meant to run at maximum 12v/100% all the time. CORSAIR iCUE has amassed an extensive collection of third-party partners to unite an ever-expanding ecosystem into a single intuitive interface. With the iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT CORSAIR has further refined and enhanced what has been a winning formula for nearly a decade now: a well-engineered 240 mm all-in-one liquid CPU cooler providing easy installation and excellent performance. Control and customize Philips Hue smart lighting devices through your iCUE software, and synchonize ambient room lighting with the rest of your RGB setup. My Corsair H100i Pro is not being detected in iCUE, I have installed the micro USB header to both USB headers on my Commander Pro and still no detection from iCUE. I even tried to connect the USB 2.0 to the spare connection on my motherboard and still no detection from iCUE. Is my cable faulty or do I need to replace the entire AIO? CORSAIR’s iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT offers excellent cooling, controlled noise levels, and excellent customization with both lighting and fan speeds easily managed using the iCUE software.
