About this deal

The Primaris armour is much the same as your normal space marine armour, but with extra details and armour plates. To paint the armour up, I first sprayed the miniature in Army Painter Wolf Grey, which is conveniently the same colour as Citadel Russ Grey. Create a glaze mix of Russ Grey and Lahmian Medium (roughly 50:50) and paint a very thin layer on the lower half areas of all the armour pieces. Once dry, repeat this another couple of times to increase the instensity of the blending. It should produce seemless soft blends.

Russ Bray (born 22 June 1957) is an English darts referee who works for the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). He is also known as "The Voice", due to his unique style of calling and his shouty voice. Russ was previously a traffic cop. PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter added: “Russ' voice is synonymous with our sport, and his contribution to the game throughout the last 30 years has been incredible. The axe is mostly just a lot of washes. I base-coated with a very light blue grey and then hit it with Akhelion Green Contrast paint. After that I applied a blue and a green wash (saturated blue, like Guilliman’s Glaze* and dark green like Athonian Camoshade). Finally I drybrushed the whole thing white. Edge Highlights Axe Head – Base with Stormhost Silver, glaze with thinned Calth Blue (This used to be Guilliman Blue, but GW Don’t make it anymore), stipple White Scar as frosting and edge highlight with White Scar. Why paint Space Wolves instead of some other flavor of Space Marine? For one, they have a lot of material variety on their models that helps break up the normal Space Marine armor. Bone and Fur are particularly common and the latter is a very fun thing to paint, with a lot of room for creativity and interesting patterns. Frost weapons is another cool reason, as they can make for an eye-catching and striking effect. They also have the best beards in the Space Marine range, so take that into account. For the tail, it’s stripes of the same colours. From the base; Steel Legion Drab, Baneblade Brown, Karak Stone, and finally on the very tip, Screaming Skull It’s a global game now. When you're refereeing on the PDC Asian Tour in Mongolia, and on the World Series [stage] in Australia, you do have to pinch yourself sometimes. After basecoats, I applied some drybrushing to the various areas, a dark blue grey for the darkest areas and then lighter colors for the lighter areas (Vallejo Iraqi Sand and Pale Sand). I then mixed up a dark brown wash (Agrax is fine) and applied that liberally to help unify everything further. The Sergeant’s helm, strapped to the hip of the chap in the first part of this post, is very simple to do. Annoyingly, I failed to take a picture of the first step, though it is very simple. First, paint the helmer with Citadel Mephiston Red. Next, wash the helm with Citadel Druchii Violet. Once dry, reapply Mephiston Red, being sure to leave the Druchii Violet visible in the recesses.

If I were doing pre-heresy wolves I might stop with the Fang, or do a less blue gray color, but I need something lighter so next I do a coat or two of Reaper Snow Shadow over the Fang, and blend it in areas where I need some darker tones. For the red, I highlighted it with a desaturated ochre and this included the markings on the shoulder and knee to help really pop the patterns out. Final Details Face & Beard – Paint the whole face Cadian Fleshtone. Layer with Kislev Flesh. Highlight with Flayed One Flesh. DO you have a picture of the three colours layered together as you describe? If so I'd be interested to see it.To highlight, I used Russ Grey mixed with a little White. I then used this to highlight all the areas of the armour that would be catching light from above. In the case of his arm for example, I highlighted from halfway down one side of his forearm to half way dow the other. Calgar Blue: This is a deep, rich blue that can be used to paint details and accents on the vehicles painted with Russ Grey. It can also be used to create a complementary color scheme. Using the edge of your paintbrush apply an edge highlight of Fenrisian Grey around all the armour panels. Add two dots of White Scar to each eye and paint the teeth. A touch of water mixed into the paint will help the flow and increase accuracy. He also refereed John Part's history-making victory over Taylor in 2003, and called in maiden World Championship titles for Adrian Lewis, Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson and Peter Wright in 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2020 respectively.

Undercoat the model white. I find aerosol sprays a bit “chalky”, so I use Vallejo Surface Primer which is very smooth. Coat D'Arms match the OLD citadel colours (pre-1992) so there might be some difference. Shining gold has the most noticeable difference, I did about two of the darker colors and three of the lighter colors. I applied every color while the previous one was still wet and basically just feathered the transitions to blend everything together.Chimera Transport: The Chimera transport is a common armored personnel carrier used by the Imperial Guard. Russ Grey paint is perfect for painting the main body of the transport, giving it a subtle and muted look. It can also be used to paint the details and weathering on the transport, giving it a realistic and weathered look.
