Darien is your typical "touch her and I´ll kill you" guy we all know and love; so you just know he will probably be your next book boyfriend. the plot of this was sort of interesting but WAY too drawn out, I found myself skimming and skimming. For anyone reading this that's forgotten, reviews are not meant for the AUTHOR but rather prospective readers! She failed to make the same mistakes that commonly befall younger heroines trying to “find their way” and won my heart over SO fast in the process.

The monsters of Greek mythology are non-existent creatures, unreal, created entirely by the ruthless human imagination. And this brings us straight finally to the plot which, to be honest, was probably the thing I liked most about the twenty-or-so chapters I've read.They make him confident, cocky, blunt, brazen, notorious, and intensely hot, but far from the other sexy, tattooed, murderously overprotective book boyfriends we all know and love he is much more than just a tragic backstory. I loved Ivyanas character and her relationship with Jack and I loved that some of the side characters were given romance sub plots as well. This book could have been filled with plot holes (it wasn’t) and not made a lick of sense (not true) and I wouldn’t have cared because I couldn’t get enough of him.
