About this deal

TALK: 200 (User) + 30 (Preset) Number of Effects GUITAR: 1 CH (DISTORTION, PREAMP, EQ, NS, PEDAL FX, FX1, FX2, FX3, DELAY/REVERB) Number of Effects: GUITAR: 1 CH (DISTORTION, PREAMP, EQ, NS, PEDAL FX, FX1, FX2, FX3, DELAY/REVERB) This bright and generously proportioned display is the heart of the Gigcaster 8, and it's how you access its more detailed features. It affords huge "tweakability" for all of your inputs via a very intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface - something that's absolutely invaluable in a live broadcast, especially if you're doing it solo, like most of mine are! Mic inputs can be easily configured for singing, dialogue or console-style processing that's appropriate for synths, drums, acoustic instruments or any other source you might want to connect. There are reverb, delay, modulation, and even special effects presets for things like radio and telephone vocals. These effects are not just for musicians - they're great for adding interest, humour and drama to your live content. Drawing on decades of BOSS expertise, each Gigcaster model offers an advanced array of features that make audio content creation easier than ever. Multiple input channels allow users to connect XLR mics and instruments, while a wide selection of premium processing from the BOSS library provides polished, ready-to-go sound. Bluetooth® audio is available for streaming music from a mobile device, while main and headphones outputs provide comprehensive sound monitoring for multiple participants.

Learn about Gigcaster’s powerful podcast creation features, including vocal effects and presets, assigning sound effects, Bluetooth audio connectivity, and interactive functionality. If an item can not be repaired, a similar alternative product or cash discount (as defined in this policy) will be offered What is different about this Gigcaster 8 is that it is guitar-centric and has built in guitar and singing multi-effects. It also uses the standard Boss effects pedal 9v power (or USB power) which is super convenient for us guitar players who have lots of these laying around (often with extra long cables). The screen points straight up and should be angled towards the user. The screen is not very touch sensitive. Dragging a control on the screen often has no effect. Many times, pressing a button on the screen doesn't respond, requiring that you try again and again.Compact five-channel streaming mixer with Hi-Z guitar/bass input, two XLR inputs, stereo line input, eight virtual sound/effect pads, 16x12 USB audio interface, and more. Whether you're shredding on electric, slapping on a bass or strumming on acoustic, the Gigcaster 5's powerful multi-FX engine can voice your tone. It features the same suite of effects, Boss amps and cabs as found on the flagship GT-1000, with a multi-coloured touch screen to make fine-tuning your patch a breeze. For optimal performance, stay up to date with the current Gigcaster 8 system software and Gigcaster 8 App. Input Impedance: GUITAR INPUT: 1M ohms, INPUT 1--4 (XLR type): 5.6 k ohms, INPUT 1--4 (TRS type): 27 k ohms, MOBILE IN: 22 k ohms With the new Boss Gigcaster 5, you have a range of creative and convenient features to up the quality and interactivity of your live streaming output. However, when you integrate it with your DAW, it also functions as a 16×12 USB interface.

The Gigcasters are designed to be pretty much self-contained, and to that end, each one comes with a colour touch display and plenty of hands-on controls. Audio sources can be mixed with faders and mute buttons, signal levels can be viewed on screen, and we’re promised easy access to routing options. The assignable pads, meanwhile, can be used for triggering sounds and tweaking the effects. Bottom line, I'm really surprised Boss missed the opportunity with this and question if it should carry the Boss name. Do I love it? Yes, I kept it. I still recommend it for solo singing guitarists. What's more, thanks to their audio interfacing capabilities, they can also be used for recording front-ends for your DAW.Collection and delivery costs are included for the first 2 years in the event of an item becoming faulty As the lines between music production and broadcasting become ever more blurred, we are seeing an increasing number of products come to market that aim to be a one-stop shop for digital creators.
