Originally, all polyester was made from oil-based raw materials which are not renewable but we are switching to only using recycled polyester. The good thing is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without negatively affecting the quality of our products. Excellent service. Opening and closing them does lead to the material getting quite thin and tearing after about 6 months where the Velcro is applied.

Not sure about “temporary” we have been using these in our bedroom for 6 years!…working nights and sleeping during the day these have been a cheap effective alternative to other products. If you are looking to make softer impression than the roller blinds offer, roman blinds might be your thing. They are somewhat similar to curtains in that they create a fuller, lusher look. Lined curtains and a Venetian blind still left the room like daylight after 4am. I decided to try Blinds in a Box and woohoo it’s DARK. The only problem is because it’s summer I need a window open. First night I had metre long steel rules to stretch out the blinds. Second night I was awake with the blinds rattling in the gentle breeze all night . Now I use the steel rules every night to hold the blinds down and all is ok. Could you maybe provide a weight accessory though as I am an artist and my steel rules belong in my studio and I need to remember to bring them every night. But thank you for the sleep…I needed it. It would be a 5* if they didn’t rattle What can I say other than excellent service and product in every way, will definitely buy more blinds from this company.
