About this deal

If you're like me and tend to shout loudly over exhaust pipes and road winds, you can easily pierce your buddy's ears. I am still impressed with the ease of use but will be contacting them about the wind noise and possibly raising the volume. All things considered, sometimes less wiz-doodles allow for more focus to enjoy the experience of the ride. My experience: The intercoms came in a nice box with everything I needed to do the installation, including both a boom mic and an internal mic.

Features include an intercom system, mesh Bluetooth technology, an interface app, and a camera with 4K video capability. This is done by holding the vol - and intercom button until the unit goes into pairing mode, and you repeat this on the other bridge unit. It takes a while to get a feel for what buttons you are actually pressing while focused on the road in front of you.

Simply slide the clip between the shell and EPS cushion, or if desired, the 3M Scotch double-sided adhesive may be used to affix the bracket directly to the surface of the helmet.

The outdated tech of the B4FM puts it at the mercy of more advanced headsets that have better features and software. Coming home Planet Rock and once off the A1 I could hear the music but by no means clear (again when slowing down as soon as below 50 things became clear). Several times it has sort of 'snapped' out after a lot of effort and I've drawn blood many times - the mount has some sharp-ish edges.

I will be receiving a pair of Lexin B4FM units in the very near future and wondered if anyone had any experience of these units? It takes a while to get used to limiting the loudness of your voice to normal conversation levels while doing something as loud and exhilarating as riding a motorcycle. Rationale for purchasing: I ride mostly with my wife and a friend and his wife, so 2 bikes, 4 people. Operate temperature -10°C - 55°C (14°F - 131°F), B4FM motorcycle headphones ensure durability in any weather condition such as dust, mud, rain, or snow.Battery life is good - running them for a couple of long-ride days doesn't even register a battery drop.

At dinner, we were talking and all concluded that this intercom does what we needed it to do, was surprisingly quiet all day, and has plenty of range. You can clip mount the B4FM to a helmet easily by slipping the clip side in between the internal padding and the external shell of the helmet. You should have no problems with hers mounted backwards - that 3mm plug is such a tight fit there are blog posts about folks with no audio at all simply needing to push it in HARDER.
