About this deal

The Walking Dead: All Out War: The infamous characters of Robert Kirkman's comic book series wage miniature war across an undead-filled battlefield. Featuring no fewer than five rulebooks, automated zombies and a lengthy play time, Dawn of the Zeds works particularly well as a solo game. In fact, the original version of Dawn of the Zeds was designed specifically for one player to handle all the actions, events and movement. The most recent third edition includes cooperative as well as competitive gameplay modes for up to five players. City of Horror Beg your friends to let you live, then leave them to die In City of Horror, your friends can be just as deadly as the undead.

FEEDING TIME!!! Toss goats out to hungry carnivore dinos. Throw leaves out to herbivore dinos. If you don’t, they just might escape! The set-up is changed slightly as all the objective cards and courtyard are flipped to their competitive side. One survivor token for each player is placed on the competitive side of the courtyard (two tokens each in a two-player game). Note: If your ammo and wound tokens ever meet, you’re dead meat! So, keep your wounds low and your ammo high. We didn’t like that the win condition was all about… just burying treasure. Burying treasure is far from the most fun you can have as a pirate- what about your infamous reputation? Your legendary status doesn’t matter, except in the case of a tie- then the player who has the best status will win. The fact that one player had a nonexistent rep and still won the game was slightly disappointing, but everything else about this game had us clamoring for the next playthrough. The zombie content is going to be a turn-off for many, as the artwork isn’t appropriate for younger audiences. That’s a big reason why Tiny Epic Zombies ranks lower on our list of best tiny epic games, but we do enjoy the mechanics of the game itself. Players who love semi-cooperative or cooperative games like Pandemic or dungeon-crawlers like Gloomhaven will likely enjoy this game. After you search the room, more Zombies flood into the Mall. Then it’s the next player’s turn. Simple as that. Tiny Epic Zombies (TEZ) is a fast paced survival game. It’s a game of board management and turn efficiency. You play either a human or a zombie. If you’re a human then you want to complete the 3 missions as soon as possible. If you’re a zombie your goal is to kill the survivors the humans are protecting, or outlast them until their supplies run out. It’s a very familiar concept. You may have seen it in…any zombie themed thing ever. Depending on the Zombie boss, the combo of players, the objectives, and the layout of the mall (the board) every game your goals and the way you achieve them change.

Hit Z Road: The genre takes a sharp left turn where players bid for the most optimal route while driving cross-country across a zombified USA. A player must move in to an adjacent room. If a room is connected with a flat section of wall it is considered adjacent. This also includes moving through a room in to an adjacent store. Each card represents a store and each store has three rooms. If a player starts in a room with a zombie they must still move first before doing anything else. Ryan here, and I have to say, I love the Tiny Epic series from Gamelyn Games. So many awesome games, done in a way that makes them extremely easy to carry and store etc. And this was recorded before Vikings and Dungeons came out. So who knows, we may even revisit this video in a while to include them and any future ones.Take command of a Fighter, a Wizard, a Rogue or a Beast in this clever tiny epic game. Strategize and execute cunning maneuvers in this dice-based game of high and low terrain. The nine objective cards are shuffled and three are dealt randomly with the co-operative side face-up. The objective cards will have some set-up and token requirements and these are now followed. If you’re experiencing fantasy or sci-fi theme burnout, Tiny Epic Western is the solution to all of your troubles! We rank it further down our list because of two things: 1) it’s so different from other tiny epic games- this one is for someone who doesn’t mind trying something completely new, and 2) it features tired caricatures of Western characters with limited diversity. Thanks for reading, and be sure to let us know how you would rank the Tiny Epic games as well! I won't make fun of you! lol.

Rumor spreads throughout the kingdoms. Your closest advisor informs you that there are three ways to rule over all kingdoms: 1) the placement of all your meeples, 2) reaching the zenith of your knowledge (by making cutting-edge advances in magic) or 3) through completion of your Tower, the apple of your eye. Did we mention there’s magic?! If there are no more survivors in the courtyard when a player is eaten alive or the barricade token reaches zero. Also, if all the search cards have been drawn and the human players have one more turn each and the objectives have not been completed. Depending on the number of players, you get a character card, life token, ammo token and what’s called an “ITEMeeple” of your choice. Tiny Epic Quests introduced ITEMeeples, which give you the chance to outfit your character with some awesome gear. In semi-cooperative play, one player becomes the zombie boss, prompting some fun hide-and-seek player interaction. Tiny Epic Kingdoms is all about e x ploration, e x pansion, e x ploitation and e x termination (hallmarks of “4X” games) on a tiny scale! You begin your journey w ith a small group of loyal followers with unique knowledge- your goal is to protect your soon-to-be-great realm. As a Survivor, your turn will consist of moving 3 times. Then based on where you move, you’ll be able to do additional things. For instance, if you move into a room with a Zombie, you’ll have to fight it by rolling the Zombie die. Or if you move into a room adjacent to a Zombie, you can spend ammo to shoot it. Killing a Zombie is actually pretty easy… but they just keep coming. Keeping them from overrunning the entire mall, while trying to accomplish your objectives, that is hard!
