About this deal

Even if you have acne prone skin (or extremely acne prone skin like me), I think you’ll still find Liquid Gold to be a great moisturizer. Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, Matricaria Recutita (Chamomile) Flower Essential Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Polyacrylamide, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Laureth-7, Ceteareth-20, Allantoin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Disodium EDTA, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate. I prefer mandelic acid to harsher ingredients like glycolic acid. Plus, lactic acid always has a distinct smell that I don’t like. Sh-Polypeptide-1 and Sh-Polypeptide-11: the two Fibroblast Growth Factors which stimulate the growth of fibroblasts, the organelles responsible for creating collagen and elastin Stratia says:”Those with normal to oily skin may find Liquid Gold is moisturizing enough to be their only moisturizer, while drier skin types may want to follow it with a heavier cream.”– I totally agree with this statement!- I think oily skins would find this perfectly fine as their PM moisturiser (keep the routine relatively short as it might all feel too much with a buttery product like this sealing everything on top as well). Dry skins – I think may use this as a first moisturiser with another second moisturiser.

Liquid Gold has 4% niacinamide, which is fantastic for helping maintain your skin’s barrier function, so it can trap moisture in better, and keep irritants out. It’s also had a bunch of other skin benefits too in clinical trials, like decreasing wrinkling, fading hyperpigmentation, reducing appearance of pores and decreasing skincare development. While her conclusions about the use of parabens, formaldehyde and lead go against the grain of what the industry at large is trying to champion, Reed has grown an organic following among those who lean into her scientific process more than the clean beauty movement. I think what lets this product down is the orange tint/tinge it gives the skin which means I am forced to use this in the PM and can’t wear it in the AM if I wanted to. And of course I have to be worried about staining white pillows. Ok, so now we know what ceramides are, let's see what they do in our skin: research shows clearly that they play a super important role in keeping the skin barrier healthy and the skin hydrated. If ceramides in the skin are decreased, more water can evaporate from the skin and there is less water remaining in the skin. So ceramides form kind of a "water-proof" protecting layerand make sure that our skin remains nice and hydrated. Stratia mixes natural and synthetic ingredients without making a fuss. And to preserve the formulas, efficiency and common sense prevails so they use good old parabens (when I saw them in the list, I almost teared up a little with joy 😅. Finally, a brand that is brave enough to resist the “clean” misinformation about them!). When the skin is dry, sensitive or very dehydrated, this barrier function is no longer ensured. This famous “barrier” is not even, not strong enough and the skin loses its moisture much faster.

The three signaling peptides above use two encapsulated and targeted peptides to help them get to where they need to go: Is your skin dehydrated, sensitive, uncomfortable, in short, completely unbalanced and your natural moisture barrier is compromised? Well, first of all, it happens to the best of us, and second, the following product review might interest you. Today, let’s have a look at the cult favorite skincare treatment for damaged skin, Stratia Liquid Gold! Opting for the right products and declaring them as their dupes is essential. So, without delay, let’s move on to the 11 Stratia Liquid Gold Dupe. Kikumasamune Sake Milk A final benefit is niacinamide’s ability to prevent and reduce acne due to its antimicrobial and sebostatic effects, meaning it can help protect against the bacteria that cause acne while also helping to reduce oil production. These encapsulated and targeted peptides are able to penetrate your skin to get to the necessary receptors, thus maximizing efficacy firming actives.
