The Juice Boom Pro XL Wireless Speaker has been specifically designed to provide an amazing rich powerful sound. Built into the Juice Boom Pro XL are 2 x 10 Watt Speakers which provides you with a premium audio experience wherever you are. The on-body Juice control panel allows you to play, pause and alter the volume of your music, so need to reach for your device. When you pair the second Juice Bass it adds to the overall sound and offers that immersive sound. I found it was nice to have in the garden as it offered that stereo sound you want when you have guests over. Inside that cover, you have the USB-C port for charging, AUX cable if you want that wired connection when Bluetooth is not an option. You also have an SD card slot which I found quite hardy as you can store a load of music on an SD card and that way you won’t need to use your phone for its music streaming service if you did not want to.

It has been developed to an IPX5 rating, which means this speaker is fully splash proof (even powerful water jets!) so ideal for holidays and outdoor use. With a Bluetooth wireless range of 10 metres (33ft) it makes this speaker suitable for chilling, parties, camping, picnics and so much more. The Boom Pro XL keeps your tunes playing wirelessly, simply fully charge this speaker in 4 hours and stay powered for over 18 hours – all on a single charge! Sound quality for the JuiceBoom Pro offers a beefy bass but the mid-range is slightly off. If the volume at max the sound can be a little muddled and can become a little distorted. The fact it comes with an IPX7 rating means you can take this speaker to the beach, away on holiday (When we are allowed to do so) and is a good size meaning it’s nice and portable. I also liked the addition of being able to use my smart assistant when listening to my music.

Everything is turned on and sitting adjacent on counter. The speaker is in pairing mode. What should I do next? Accessories wise you get the USB-C charge cable and a fabric carry case when you’re not using the speaker. It’s a nice addition as am all about keeping my tech safe when not in use. I also listen to a regular podcast on the speaker and it worked very well there no dropouts and the vocals come across nice and clear and at times I thought I had a more expensive speaker. Your speaker might need to be reset to factory default settings. If you don't know how to reset UE Boom settings to their original factory default, follow these steps:So overall, would I buy this speaker? I would say yes it’s not very expensive and if you’re looking for a speaker that has a rugged feel that can be used vertically or horizontally and has a decent sound profile for the cost of the speaker. This speaker won’t replace your home audio system but it’s great when you’re down the park or chilling on the beach. When you turn the speaker on you will also see an LED that is embedded in the rubber cover. This is a Blue light when you turn the speaker on and it flashes when you go into pairing mode. The fact it comes with IPX5 means it can even handle the odd pool splash if you’re using it by the outdoor pool we all got in that heatwave. I would have preferred some colour choices in the speaker but that might come in time. I would have also liked to have been able to connect to a second speaker for that stereo sound.
