Year 2 Long Term Curriculum Overview Year 2 Long Term Curriculum Overview

I would like to read the first book in the series to see if that would help me to understand this better. This book has really great pictures - I really like the Eagle mountain which also could be a hen! As a short story, you can read it all in one go, which you’ll want to do, as like me, you’ll wish to know what happens at the end! It’s Eddie’s birthday. He’s having a magician and twenty friends. But he didn’t invite any dragons… This book is amazing! It's about a boy called Edward who goes on holiday with his Uncle Morton to a country called Magnolia. They are looking for the Great Dragon Battle Ceremony. This was my favourite part as the dragons flew around in different directions and no-one was hurt.A fun short reader with some laugh out loud moments. A lovely addition to the The Dragonsitter series.

It's about a boy called Edward who goes on holiday with his Uncle Morton to a country called Magnolia. They are looking for the Great Dragon Battle Ceremony. This book is great for children from around 7-12. I really liked how Uncle Morton has two dragons himself but when he meets the other dragons he’s terrified. This is sophisticated storytelling in a really accessible format, no wonder the series has now reached number ten.” Fred comes from an exceptionally gifted magical family, but unfortunately his own wizarding skills are rather underwhelming. A marvellous and funny fantasy adventureabout not fitting in and having the courage to face fears head on.
