About this deal

So now I'm looking at deflector plates, and also I'm considering getting Grillgrates on the basis that I can cook over very hot coals without flareups. Now that I’ve swung that top vent out, every time I lift the lid it swings open fully (again had not noticed hence too much heat), I think I need to twist that top turret 180 degrees so it doesn’t - maybe this is why I screwed it down so tightly initially!

As with all charcoal barbecues, there wasn't too much maintenance to be done with this grill, but the next time it's in use you should rake over the coals so that they fall into the lower part of the Kamado, and you can remove them and start afresh. Of course, we are all happy with a larger piece of meat on the Kamado MINI, as cliché as it is, despite the fact that vegetables taste great, everyone's belly is rumbling from a delicious piece of meat. We eat outside so much; it just makes sense for me to get something better and I cannot afford a Big kamado - so the little one seems great - used it twice already and only got it on saturday. Came up to heat in about 10 mins, cooked two large jacket spuds, onions and two Angus steaks, which turned out great.

There are a few little things that will bring your Kamado usage to the next level and I will add a couple of posts on these shortly. This way, you can turn your YAKINIKU® into an oven, as it were, and the number of dishes that you can prepare with your Kamado 11 inch is even more extensive.This name was adopted by the Americans and has now become a generic term for this style of ceramic cooker. On top of that, there's the element for the stand (which you just need to bolt together) and the handle that you need to secure on. This barbeque / smoker can last indefinitely using half the charcoal as a metal BBQ – you save money on its daily use.
