Shannon Tindle ( Coraline) created the series and penned the scripts. He exec produces alongside Levy and Josh Barry via their Netflix-based 21 Laps Entertainment banner, Flight School Studios’ Brandon Oldenburg, Lampton Enochs and Peter Ramsey ( Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), with the latter on board to direct all episodes. Animation will be done via Industrial Light + Magic ( The Mandalorian), which is creating CGI characters for the series. Production is currently underway in Vancouver. Inelegant Blubbering: Zozo ugly-cries in Episode 4 when Ollie tells him Nina was torn apart due to aging and her bell was inside of him the whole time. Zozo seems to be fake crying, however, as he uses this as an opportunity to make Ollie vulnerable before trying to kill him again. Jonathan Groff, known for his roles in Mindhunter, Hamilton and Frozen, will voice Ollie, a handmade toy rabbit stitched together from odds and ends. Ollie has a pure spirit with a heart of gold and never ruins a chance to make friends. He’s been best friends with Billy since forever, until one day he ends up in a resale shop with no way home. Though he’s often afraid of the unknown, Ollie puts on a brave face and sets off to find Billy, meeting other toys to help him along the way. Dying Moment of Awesome: In Episode 4, Zozo is about to tear Ollie's bell out, but Rosy comes to his rescue, dying from losing her stuffing, to stab Zozo, saving Ollie.
