Additionally, there are also hints of guaiacwood and vanilla. Guaiacwood is a musky note with a pipe tobacco essence, which is softened by the vanilla. L’Eau Super Majeure opens up with a classic aromatic and citrus accord. It starts with rosemary, which dissipates is replaced by clary sage, following lime and some very fresh basil. Heart Notes The olfactory impression of metal and technology is reflected in the lid. Whereby by expanding the theme in blue color. A most matte, brushed metal. In the predecessor L'Eau Majeure d'Issey, the silver lid also gives the impression of metal, while here it got its bluish shimmer from heating. Nevertheless, I would regard it as something that you could wear with a suit and tie when you’re going to work. Here, too, the water and especially the sea is a major theme. However, the L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey conveys in contrast to its predecessor, for my sensation, the approaching early morning. The sun's rays are warming. It is no longer so cold. The plants of the sand dunes smell stronger here than the mudflats or the washed up smorgasbord of algae, driftwood and secretions from the digestive tract of marine mammals. I find it to be very deep and alluring. Combined with the sea salt and the overall aquatic profile, as well as an earthy patchouli note, it made for a very tantalizing heart and an intriguing voyage, to say the least. Base Notes

It's refreshing but intense, with a strong smell of sea breeze, sea salt and wet wood dried in the sun on the beach. Cashmeran is an intriguing synthetic compound that is meant to smell like a combination of amber and wool. Specifically, it’s meant to smell like cashmere, which explains the name. Whereas the L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey is more accessible and would find more approval than its predecessor or alternatively thereby ifiger interesting and unique seems than its predecessor. As it settles, the perfume reveals a woody and synthetic character that is, unfortunately, not entirely harmonious. This may perhaps be due to the unexpected sweetness that pops up midway, tending to clash with the fresh and woody aspects. This clash, however, doesn't entirely detract from the perfume's appeal, particularly for those who appreciate a scent that pushes boundaries.

Longevity & Sillage: Very solid in both cases; heat, humidity and perspiration can vary greatly the behavior of any perfume - especially in summer -, but it has a great performance. I prefer it for late spring, summer and early fall... And I have to say that I like this one more than "L'Eau Majeure d'Issey", although the OG may be fresher for hotter days. We also have a touch of sandalwood. Overall, you will experience an intriguing bouquet of muskiness, which is accompanied by this ambery, wool, cashmere accord which is quite alluring. That being said, although this sounds very warm, it’s a surprisingly refreshing fragrance. L’Eau Super Majeure d’Issey’s Life-Cycle, Wake & Strength Meanwhile,this is definitely a daytime fragrance. That being said, I think it would be quite pleasant worn in the early evening as the sun goes down, in the height of summer. After all, this is primarily a summer fragrance that could potentially be worn in late spring and early autumn.This fragrance reminds me of my childhood, when we walked along the shore of the beach and played in the boats that were on the sand... So for me, the purpose of the fragrance is perfectly accomplished. This Issey Miyake fragrance suits best for daytime use, perhaps during leisure activities or sports. It also transitions well into a business setting, making it a versatile choice. Although it leans towards spring and summer use, it could also work in early fall. And finally, the masculinity on this isn’t overbearing. This is a fragrance with a nice general bouquet. It’s not cloying in any way. It’s not too virile, as the term goes, nor is it too mild. It’s a nice middle of the road fragrance.
