Similar products with erythritol are ok as the sort of carbs it has cant be absorbed by the body, but this product doesn't state it. Could be a huge selling point if it is confirmed. Unfortunately, the product does have an acquired metallinc bitterish taste and isn't any better than other sweeteners. Besides, it isn't 70% sweet compared to sugar but rather 50%. The only advantage is that it is natural. As I don't use sugar at all, I might be tempted to try and get used to it but it is far too expensive. Bought this alternative sugar plus the Maple syrup. after watching Dragons Den . I found the sugar not as sweet as my other product I was using so having two spoonful's instead of one. Not tried the syrup yetI am on a sugar free diet and the benefit of a 100% natural product makes it reassuring too. Worth the extra cost but would be good to have it in a cardboard box so recommend decanting it.
