FRONTLINE Plus® is a veterinary medicine with a robust safety profile. It can be applied to cats from 8 weeks of age that weigh at least 1 kg and ferrets from 6 months of age. It can also be used on cats in pregnancy. Do not bathe your dog or let them swim for 2 days after application. If your dog is unwell, please see your vet for advice before you apply a flea treatment. FRONTLINE Plus also contains an important addition of (S)-methoprene which works to prevent the multiplication of fleas by killing fleas in their immature stages (eggs, larvae and pupae). Bathing/shampooing/water exposure does not affect the efficacy of the product as long as it doesn’t occur more than once a week.I applied as per instructions and after an hour there were already dead fleas. Within 24hrs there was not a single sign of fleas dead or alive on my dogs. It's been 3 weeks now & still no sign of a flea. Im going to re-dose as recommended a month after the first application to ensure continued protection. Weather conditions where I live have been perfect for flea outbreaks, very high temps with some humidity throw n in, so I don't want to risk a reinfestation. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin where indicated and squeeze the pipette gently to empty the content. I used this product following the instructions, washing ALL bedding and everything else she used for 3 consecutive months, but my dog STILL has fleas!!
