At the September 2023 Nintendo Direct, the brand new Zelda and Ganondorf amiibo for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom finally got a release date. Ooccoo_Jr : And considering how little the BOTW expansion brought to the table, I'd rather they leave TOTK as it is. In any case, I won't buy any expansions this time around unless Nintendo issue a complete physical release like they did with BOTW in Japan (which I ended up importing). I do appreciate that the game allows you to get everything except the paraglider fabrics in the core game play without needing to have bought the amiibo. But the amiibo if you have them can be a useful and powerful tool for playing the game!

Darthmoogle Couldn't agree more. Is it really that hard to produce enough inventory so that it doesn't sell out within minutes?? I thought we were done with the mostly translucent plastic stands holding up the amiibo. I can sort of see why with Zelda, but I would have done the Ganondorf design differently.The main rewards you can get from scanning the new Zelda and Ganondorf amiibo are paraglider fabrics. These cannot be obtained in the game by regular means, and are exclusive drops from the new amiibo. Laserbeak1982 Definitely not too early. The game desperately needs a harder difficulty to make searching for everything worth it. Admittedly, Soulsborne has ruined final bosses in every other game from me, but I want Ganondorf to make me see the game over screen several times even with the best equipment.
