About this deal

Every time her weight is mentioned is either to insult her for starving herself because, need I remind you, she’s DEPRESSED, or it’s for Cassian to point out while he talks about how hot she is. Most notably, there is a sexual interaction where one person verbally tells the other to stop touching them during a sexual encounter, and the person doing the touching continues. And I have to say, that I should have at least been reading along so I could exploit some teachable moments. It would've been better if she continued being the bitchy little shit she was, but rushing her character growth towards the last 100 pages is stupid and inexcusable and straight up lazy, and it was a complete waste of my time.

I was going to reread ACOMAF and the rest of that damn series before I started this book, but now I can't even bring myself to, because then I'll just end up remembering the utter failure that was ACOSF. AGE RATING – Okay so age rating, this book and the other books in the series have a couple explicit intimate scenes which I think aren’t really suited to younger readers so if you look online many parents say that it should not be a YA (young adult) book and is suited for teen over the age of 17 but overall people say that 15+ is what this book should be rated. Similarly, Rhysand has done horrific things in the past to avenge his loved ones and save others and continues to be viciously brutal to enemies even as he's trying to protect his people.

Feyre is fearful that the Fae are responsible and that things must be terribly wrong in the Spring Court, so she decides to go back. The plot is good, there’s a fair amount of violence, but the torture is a little much for a YA book. Her family was once wealthy but has lost their fortune, and her father was badly beaten by creditors and has limited use of his leg. Descriptions of gore, body parts, and gruesome fates -- past, present, and imagined -- are plentiful. When Feyre goes Under the Mountain to save Tamlin, she sees the rotting, burned, broken corpse of Clare Beddor nailed to the wall of the throne room.

I know i'm almost 14and i'm pretty much a kid but I believe I have a decent perspective on what books can do to you. his POV was soooooooooooooooooooooo boringgggggggggggggg and i was so sick of reading every two minutes that he wants to fuck Nesta OKAY WE GET IT NOW MOVE ON THINK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE. release of the next book, A Court of Silver Flames: A Court of Thorns and Roses, Book 4, this series has been repositioned for an adult audience. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.I do get it that some people protect themselves by using angry words or whatever BUT to me she just seemed like a selfish bitch.

When Tamlin shape-shifts back to Fae, he wears a mask, as do all the servants and Tamlin’s best friend, Lucien. But as a 28 year old woman, I felt her depths of despair and depression to my very soul, so I can't imagine handling all the emotions of this one when I was under the age of 18! When Tamlin gets enraged, he shape-shifts into an enormous lion/wolf-like creature and smashes things.

All she could think about was: Cassian's cock, how unworthy she is (for his cock), the fire within her wanting to bursttttttttttttttt or sth. Lucien tells Feyre that if she stays for the rite, Tamlin will claim her, and she won’t like it, as Fire Night is not a night for lovemaking. Soon, another Fae in wolf form comes to Feyre’s house and demands payment, a life for a life, as required by the treaty between human and Fae realms. It's completely her choice but it's becoming tiring to read about "TIME's 100 most beautiful people of all time" all the time.THIS IS NOT A REVIEW OF THE STORY BUT INSTEAD A DISCUSSION OF SJM’S HORRIBLE “FEMINISM” AND HOW SHE DID NESTA ARCHERON DIRTY. Forty-nine years ago, she struck, tricking and using magic to steal power from the seven High Lords of Prythian. Again, yes this book does involve sex but there’s not as much of it as there is made out to be, it’sabsolutely fine for anyone over the age of 11. And, also to the parents, let the kid choose if they think the book is too much for them——you don’t know what’s going on in your kids head and it’s not your choice to make. It’s come up in the comments, but I do feel like it’s important to note for parents that the book has some issues around consent that they may want to discuss explicitly with kids that may still be learning how to navigate sexual relationships and communication around consent.
