About this deal

One For Sorrow’, one of the group’s signature hits, was the second song in the set list and it escalated an already excited audience to a whole new level. This special limited edition collectors pack comes in an exclusive gold foil embossed slipcase and contains the 2CD deluxe, and a special DVD/Blu-ray double pack (exclusive to this format). Written by Sia and Greg Kurstin, the song's lyrics are "a reflection how they feel now as a group and how far they've come" since their formation 23 years prior.

Then the cube lifted up to reveal Steps inside and the opening bars of ‘What The Future Holds’ began. Throughout the show Steps looked as ecstatic as their fans to be back in an arena, and the energy was electric all night. The physical CD has 12 tracks, the Single Mix of What The Future Holds is not included and has the full length version. The song "What the Future Holds" premiered on Zoe Ball's The Radio 2 Breakfast Show on 8 September and was released as the lead single the same day on download and streaming platforms.

minutes prior to Steps taking to the stage, a countdown appeared on a video screen hovering over the catwalk. It was revealed that they would be releasing their fifth studio album, Tears on the Dancefloor in April followed by the Party on the Dancefloor Tour in November. Pip Ellwood-Hughes for Entertainment Focus believed the song "gleefully celebrates the past via a classic, ABBA-esque chorus, a joyous key change and a brilliantly unexpected staggered outro".

The stage set was impressive with a spinning floor at the front of the catwalk, a staircase and large video screens. In an interview with the Official Charts Company, Ian "H" Watkins explained that the group decided to record another album following the release of their fifth studio album Tears on the Dancefloor (2017) and the completion of its supporting arena tour, the Party on the Dancefloor Tour, purely based on the sound of the song alone. Steps performed the single live for the first time on 18 September 2020 on BBC One's The One Show, featuring choreography from the official music video. Their hotly anticipated sixth album What The Future Holdsalbum will be available on all digital platforms plus CD, Vinyl (including a limited edition transparent pink edition) and Cassette (including a special collector’s box with five separate transparent pink solo cassettes with an intro from each band member). The concert features all five members of the band on stage together – cleverly edited for the ultimate Steps experience.

As is customary for pop productions, there were a number of costume changes throughout the set with the group paying homage to looks from their past and trying out some new looks too. By the time the final bars of ‘Tragedy’ arrived and the group bid their farewells, the audience was definitely satisfied and even at two hours in length, I could have happily stayed there for a lot longer. On 7 September 2020, Steps announced that they would release their sixth album What the Future Holds on 27 November, preceded by its title track, in addition to embarking on a United Kingdom arena tour in 2021. Double CD of the show, presented in a deluxe 6 panel fold out sleeve with accompanying 12 page booklet.
