About this deal

btw she’s talking about a dress she was wearing at a club, where she gets drunk, the male protagonist somehow gets there and he’s! just! so! angry! she’s there dancing with a friend, drunk, in a short dress, if he hadn’t arrived someone could have done something bad to her! (you mean like your two best friends / roommates? Moving on.) Rooney offers her help: because she loves Bergmans and she selflessly wants to solve the family’s property problem. This also means she will be married with the man she’s been ogling for two years. Willa: Rather than give me the lecture notes I missed like every other professor, I have been told to get them from the silent, surly flannel-wearing mountain man sitting next to me in class. Well, I tried. And what did I get from Ryder Bergman? Ignored.

It’s one of the best sports romance/ frenemies theme with hilarious and adorable characters! Please read this book ASAP to heal your negative thoughts and laugh out loud with thinking any further. It’s true that Ryder and Willa didn’t start with the right foot. At the beginning, their fights were so epic that sometimes I was afraid they would end up killing each other before they had even kissed.

What I really loved about their dynamic was it wasn’t all hate. They reached a mutual understanding (before the pranking started rolling in) that they were clearly frenemies I love the Bergman Brothers series so much and I loved all the little breadcrumbs we got of AxelRooney throughout the first three books that it made the experience of reading their book that much more enjoyable. That’s what I expected from Willa. Not an apology. Not the tears. That’s why I felt her, because she showed me she wasn’t a prototype role model that could be put a label on. Rooney Sullivan, smiler, law student and all round sunshine has a crush on Axel but thinks he doesn't like her. Her life is a mess, since her IBD is flaring up, so she's taking time out from school at her best friend's boyfriend's family A-frame to recover. As a female soccer player, I've battled men before. But with Ryder, it's war. And victory is going to taste so, so sweet...The only thing I wished with this book was for there to be more fake dating, given that it was a marriage of convenience, I expected them to have to hold hands or kiss in front of people, you know everything that comes with that trope. But, the marriage was kept a secret from the Bergman family, and any people that Axel & Rooney were around, already knew that the marriage was for convenience only. However , towards the end I realised that this book, in fact, is shit and it took all of my desire to read so much so that it put me into a reading slump, because upon further thought, I realised that I could have read if I wanted to, this book just made me...not want to.

Misunderstood grump, Axel Bergman, an artist in the Autistic spectrum has had a crush on Rooney for a while, so logically avoids her 🙄😂Hiding at his family's A-frame, he can't stop thinking about her.. Ryder was alright, but also super unrealisic as a character, he was written to be essentially flawless and it was obvious he was the author's wet dream - homeboy cried when he saw Willa naked for the first time, because she is so beautiful and perfect and he loves her so much................... What can I say except I’m just as excited for the next book as I was for With You Forever. Liese has given some breadcrumbs for the next book as she did with Axel and Rooney. I just need more but for now I’m just going to make some pannkakor and enjoy the high after finishing With You Forever. As I said, Axel and Rooney are a perfect match. While reading, you can say that, even though they liked each other for a long while, they didn’t expect it—them—ever to happen (and what led them to find out it wasn’t exactly the most romantic context ever, but who cares?). Throughout the story—following all the “thinking of the other” moments, the cute and domestic scenes, the beautiful conversations and secrets shared—you can feel everything the protagonists are feeling. You can deeply and easily feel their angst, their happiness, their sadness, their fear and, overall, you can feel the love they have for each other. As usual, Chloe found a very beautiful and great way of giving a beautiful story that is about much more than just a relationship. Axel is my second fave Bergman so far. I love how grumpy he is but is secretly a sunshine. The way he went out of his way to care for Rooney was adorable and I loved all of their interactions together.
