About this deal

In these four issues and to complete her heist, Selina asks a few old allies for help. I think by far the strongest part of this book was Killer Croc. Seeing his current state and the relationship he has with Selina was bittersweet and really well-written.

In the Earth-Two continuity, Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne are married, and their daughter, Helena Wayne, is that universe's Robin. In this universe, either Selina has reformed or was never a supervillain in the first place. It is revealed in issue #0 of Worlds' Finest that this Selina was killed while trying to stop what she believed was a human trade ring. The Nice House On The Lake— A horror comic by James Tynion IV, Alvaro Martinez Bueno, and Jordie Bellaire. Eleven friends go up to a nice house on the lake for a vacation... just in time for the apocalypse. The one who invited them, however, already knew this was going to happen. Cliff Chiang is a great artist but, like most great artists who try writing their own comics, he reveals himself to be a base amateur when it comes to putting together an even half-decent script. This is why some creators write comics and others draw them, and rarely do the twain come together in one person well. The Question: The Deaths of Vic Sage— The Question discovers that he's been the subject of reincarnation since at least The '30s and seeks to investigate. Written by Jeff Lemire, drawn by Denys Cowan and inked by Bill Sienkiewicz.

In Alan Grant's Batman: Shadow of the Bat Annual #2, Vikki Vale, a reporter for Wayne Media, is Catwoman. She is hired by Anarky to steal information, but she gets caught and is tortured by Jonathan Crane, whom she calls a "demented scarecrow". Catwoman, in her first appearance, wore no costume or disguise at all. It was not until her next appearance that she donned a mask, which was a theatrically face-covering cat-mask that had the appearance of a real cat, rather than a more stylized face mask seen in her later incarnations. Later, she wore a dress with a hood that came with ears, and still later, a catsuit with attached boots and either a domino or glasses-mask. Catwoman is a fictional character created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with the superhero Batman. Debuting as " the Cat" in Batman #1 (spring 1940), she is one of the Dark Knight's most notable enemies and belongs to the collective of adversaries that make up his rogues' gallery. However, the character has also been depicted as an antiheroine and become Batman's best known and most enduring love interest, with many stories depicting their complex love–hate relationship. [4] Since 1993, Catwoman has had her own ongoing series, Catwoman.

Ten years ago on that fateful night, Selina failed the Batman. She has questioned that night over and over again and she needs to find her answers. She needs to find a way to enter the batcave and find out what was Orpheus, Bruce's last request.Catwoman (vol. 3) Detective Comics #759-762; Catwoman #1-37; Catwoman Secret Files #1; Catwoman: Selina's Big Score #1 While plenty of other heroes don't have their final fates shown, it seems that many of the heroes who survived the chaos of their former careers have found some sense of peace and stability outside their former community. Notably, typically magical defender Zatanna can sense when her defenses in the Batcave are breached -- but instead of racing to find out what happened, she continues her show. This is a world where the heroes are done throwing themselves at endless fatal threats. The Last God: Songs of Lost Children— One shot showing the journey of Queen Cyanthe from innocent girl to warrior.

Batman: The Imposter— A Batman story set in a "gritty, hard-boiled version of Gotham City" where a second Batman haunting Gotham's rooftops and alleys—and this one has no qualms about murdering criminals, live and on tape. Written by Mattson Tomlin and drawn by Andrea Sorrentino. Manning, Matthew K. Chief among them is trying to understand what Batman meant when, with his dying breath, he uttered the words “Orpheus.” The answer, she believes, is in the Batcave, so she decides to pull off one last heist, breaking into the Dark Knight’s lair, which is now protected by an army of troops clad in high-powered Bat Armor. Personally, I also have a thing against any Riddler/Catwoman relationship and what Chiang planned here was exactly what I detest. Catwoman was ranked 11th on IGN's "Top 100 Comic Book Villains of All Time" list, [7] and 51st on Wizard magazine's "100 Greatest Villains of All Time" list.
