I felt a disconnect, my eyes squinted as I looked up. As I thought about the question, I realized that we always force a separation between the artist (me) and audience (people). Sunshine is encapsulated bliss with lyrics declaring that despite the failure of a relationship the love, passion, and joy is everlasting. The second half of this song with the cacophony of vocals and guitars is absolutely perfect.

Helmet is similar to Sunshine in that the instrumentation prompts a warm and fuzzy sensation inside of you, and Steve's singing and well crafted melodies make you wanna belt out the words with him. There's just too much greatness on this album. I didn't even talk about the intro, Buttons, or Mercury. Like if you allow yourself to get into the summertime headspace which Lacy's trying to bring you into, and vibe with the wamth and jubilance present in this record, you're in for a good time. Gemini Rights is the second and major-label debut studio album by American musician Steve Lacy. It was released on July 15, 2022, by RCA Records. It follows Lacy's debut album Apollo XXI (2019), and was preceded by the singles "Mercury", [5] " Bad Habit" [6] and "Sunshine". Give you the World is a warm classic with amazing falsetto vocals on a smooth instrumental... The kind of song you can just turn on and lose yourself to with a good pair of headphones on.
