About this deal

I loved seeing these two dance around their feelings for each other. It was obvious they’ve been in love forever, but both have their understandable hang ups about love. They were so perfect for each other, and gave each other the room to be quirky and comfortable in their skin.

his k!nk. The scene was like an appetizer for me. Give me more puuu lease!!! Hutton being alpha and dom is what I need in my life 👀. This book had everything you want in terms of it being an amazingly hot read. Honestly to me the best part is hottie Hutton and the absolute love he has to give. Supportive and amazing. Do you think there are really guys out there like this? Melanie Harlow definitely knows how to do small-town romance justice! Tease is the 8th installment in the Cloverleigh Farms series, following characters from the second generation, and while this entire series brings ALL the feelings and the best tropes to life, it can be read as a standalone.

While this book is loaded with anxiety issues, all in all, it’s also sweet and spicy, and simply a fabulous read! Fake dating is my addiction, and Melanie delivered. This story follows Felicity and Hutton. Felicity heads to her high school reunion, runs in to her old bully and blurts out that she is engaged to a billionaire. The only billionaire she knows is Hutton, her best friend since they were kids, who just happens to have extreme social anxiety. But Hutton would do anything for her, so he gets in his car and plays fake fiancé. I really liked Ellie. It was easy for me to relate to her and the way she thought. The way she can't quite get over the past. Her fears, her thoughts, her self-doubt. Her business side, her professionalism, and her 'take-no-shit' attitude. I loved it all. And let me tell you about the tension. The TENSION. How did MH avoid a slow burn but still build up the pay off like she did?? I was gasping up every time they even hugged or brushed elbows haha

Honorable mention to what is one of my favorite lines from the whole book. This was actually said by a random side character at a gas station I love how real these characters are, and how this story could happen anywhere. I loved that they’re still who they were as kids, and that they didn’t let life change them. I really loved this book. It had fake dating but it was used more as a way for them to be together than anything else. It was so cute watching them blur the lines between real and fake, and trying to convince themselves it’s only for a month. Yeah, oookay. My goal as an author is to entertain my readers with stories about ordinary people falling in extraordinary love. I want to make you feel warm and cozy and loved–and laugh a lot along the way. In short, Tease had tropes that I absolutely loved. Everything from best friends to lovers to faking a relationship to living together to make everyone believe it’s real; this book had it all. And when you toss in a large helping of Melanie Harlow’s magic, you know you’re in for a treat. And this book gave me everything and more. I loved Felicity and I loved Hutton and I loved them together so much that I never wanted this book to end! These characters brought so much life and beauty to the story that you really felt like you were a part of it all. And god, it was so wonderful.I couldn't help myself. There was just something so irresistible about getting under her skin-I was a kid in a candy store around Ellie Fournier. Hutton also had a side that I appreciated and understood, and they’re sort of unexpectedly steamy together—and I love me a heroine who knows what she wants! Felicity’s sisters provide amazing advice, and so does Hutton’s sister. Because everyone sees it—in fact, everyone’s seen it since they were teens. They were just waiting for them to open their eyes. Once their families find out, they have a hard time breaking their hearts by telling them it was all a lie😬. So they don’t 😅.

GAH!! I knew Gianni and Ellie's story was going to be good just by getting glimpses of them in Ignite but Melanie Harlow just blew it out of the water with Taste!!!! I am SO obsessed with this story!! Like all the amazing stories by this author, Taste was full of hot and sexy moments, combustible chemistry and alllll the swoons!! I loved this story so much! the lie he tells 😬. Look. It’s almost required in a forced proximity book 💁🏻‍♀️. How else would they spend more time together 😈? Know this was Melanie's first billionaire book, but the plot being so centered around him being the aforementioned billionaire was... repetitive at times. Also, characters need dimensions, they can’t be perfect and they need to grow. But this characters needed therapy, a hobby and honest to God a little talk with their parents. Without that happening they shouldn’t be in a relationship.
