Outlook Shade-a-Babe - Making days in the sunshine safer and

I have a shade a babe and think it's fab - used it all last summer - you just fold the insect nect thing under the hood bit if that makes sense, so you don't need to use it really in this country anyway...Anyone got experience of both of these and know which is best. The shade a babe is much more expensive and seems if you lie child flat they get sun in their eyes.

Outlook Shade-A-Babe Universal Sunshade - Black

I didn't realise there are so many different shades for the pram. Can you tell me if you use the protect a bub or the rayshade is there anyway that you can stop the sun shining onto your LO if the sun is directly in front of the pram? Outlook Shade a Babe Pram Shade zips open for accessibility while still providing side shade and glare protection for delicate eyes. Now you can access your child without needing to take the shade off totally!!! Shade–a–babe fits easily onto any buggy, stroller, car seat or carrycot, providing the perfect amount of shade that babies and toddlers need to be safe, cool and content in the sun. In fact, the UV protection is so good that it is the only product of its kind endorsed by the Skin and Cancer Foundation in Australia. UPF50+ sun visor ? the highest UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) fabric rating available. Shade a Babe Shields delicate eyesWe had one with the zipped window and it was great. We used it from 4 months to 18 months It was great as it stayed put on windy days and couldn't be used as a lance to spear passers by when DS got older. I bought one this weekend, as last year I was simply fed up of constantly moving the parasol around to try and shield out the sun. It's really easy to use and put on the pushchair - I have a Quinny Buzz and it fitted fine. I don't think I've quite mastered using it with the mesh rolled up as it seemed to be quite a funny shape and if I didn't have the pushchair hood up, the whole thing touched the front of Imogen's head, so I'm sure I need a bit more practice on that bit. I have a ray shade- better than any parasol esp when you have a little monkey who pulls at the parasol, constantly moving it. I am wanting something to take on hols- and am considering the shade a babe as well. But my little monkey doesnt even like being behind his raincover on the pushchair! MmmmmmmmmTHIS PRICE IS FOR 5 BALLS!. GREAT FOR ALL BABY, CHILDRENS AND ADULT GARMENTS, KNITTING PATTERNS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE. One beautiful bfp on our first IVF (courtesy of the NHS) in 2005; our little man was born at 33wks - very blessed and eternally grateful to C&W. Also does it really fit most buggies? I have an iCandy Apple, a Maclaren Techno and an M&P Luna so it has to fit all of those.

My 6 month old DS burns so easily that I use it quite often as it just fits on the pushchair - kind of like a raincover. One of the things I like best is that it gives you total peace of mind! I would say yes as it is just a canopy over the hood of the pushchair which puts the little one totally in a uv shade. I intend using it with Lucas this summer too. Me 33 years, DP 46 years. ttc 5 years. Unexplained infertility. Several unsuccessful cycles of clomid . Solar-screen™ front panel – A see-through mesh front panel screens 90% of UVA & UVB yet still allows your child to see out (it is rather like looking through sunglasses). It also protects from flying insects. The mesh panel can be zipped closed or left partially or fully open, as required. Perfect for both winter and summer holidays, shade–a–babe gives protection from sun, glare, insects and wind.

Oh goodness how old were they? DD would climb everest without equipment if she knew it existed and she's only tiny! Shelley - Did you use the protect a bub on the Jane Powertwin? We definitly need some sort of sunshade as the sun is strong here in Aus, but cant find any tandem shades. we have a shade a babe. they are brilliant. especially if the alternative is an ordinary parasol or sun tan lotion. dd is almost completely shaded by the 100% bit and has never burnt under the 'bee keeper' bit either. i am very impressed. we also have their cosy toe, which is also brilliant. apparently you can use both together on a skiing holiday. we have not done this. A UPF3 lower mesh offers protection filtering UV rays entering through the lower half of the pushchair while still providing good vision and ventilation.
