About this deal

When an opportunity for not one but two jobs arises in Scotland, Zoe decides this could be the change she desperately needs. So with a huff and a puff the coupling dance was over, thank the almighty stars, and life could happily continue in the wilds of the great valleys and deep lochs of Scotland. For me too. Why do I suddenly feel so old? And grumpy? ***SIGH***

I was given an copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review which I am more than happy to give. I rather enjoyed this tale of taking risks with some romance thrown in along with some beautiful Scottish scenery. Nina has been working at the city library for years when cuts come along, and her job is eliminated. Nina takes a chance to pursue her dream of opening a bookstore. Discovering that she can’t afford to rent a building, she decides to take her dream mobile and ends up with a former bread delivery van that she transforms into a bookmobile. Single mother Zoe is desperately struggling to make ends meet in London. Her 4-year-old son Hari is perfect, except for the fact he doesn’t speak – at all. When Zoe’s landlord raises the rent on her dismal studio flat, she realises she has nowhere to turn. This book was just comfort reading at it best, curled up on my sofa with a cup of tea and a supply of chocolate I just devoured it. If you are looking for a fast, cute romance read, then you need to read The Bookshop on the Corner by Rebecca Raisin.Change was so alien to me, it was almost another language. I was a staunch fan of the 'if it's not broke - don't fix it' mentality." ~ Sarah Sarah even starts a book blog! Now you see why I want her to be my best friend, I’d even move to Ashford!!! ♥ Sarah’s blog gets a lot more followers faster than mine, she gets over 3000 followers within a month!!! Wow, she must be good. I would like to read her blog too. The way she speaks of her blog, you can tell the Author is a fan of bookblogs too. I loved the way he was always teasing her about her books and he read her blog, that’s so sweet. I especially adored the one including the genres, transferring it to their relationship… This is a happy story of love when you least expect it, with a little but of turmoil thrown in for good measure. It's set in a wonderful little town filled with wonderful characters who I want to read more about.

What’s a shy English librarian to do when she’s downsized out of a job and her only hope for remaining employed is to become a social media–savvy coordinator of online content? As you all know we’re in Ashford, so this little town is probably familiar with some of you. Remember, Lily, CeeCee or Damon? Well, we get to read about them again here, which is great! I loved their story and didn’t want to leave it, it’s amazing the Rebecca created this connection. Now I really can’t wait for the next Lily and Damon step!!!The title alone was enough to catch my eye. I love 'books about books' and this one will truly resonate with people like me, who live and breathe books, no matter what genre you prefer. The descriptive work of Rebecca Raisin really puts you in the life and heart of Ashford and Sarah. The way Sarah speaks of books, it was so captivating. This is a book that I think all booklovers will relate to. This book spoke to my soul Because every day with a book is slightly better than one without, and I wish you nothing but the happiest of days. Nina Redmond is my favorite kind of main character - she feels like a best friend. A very bookish best friend. The best possible kind of best friend.
