About this deal

Awesome fight scenes, team ups I didn't expect, deaths I couldn't see coming, and a ending that was both sad and wonderfully done. I really do like the ending part with Reze and Denji on the beach, their relationship kinda reminds me of Kaneki and Rize from Tokyo Ghoul! A bomb devil did provide a ton of exhilarating action sequences though, making this another super entertaining volume. It felt like one big fever dream with a surprisingly melancholy twist that put a nice spin on an extremely chaotic little story arc.

More monsters, more romantic (or ok, more basic than that) yearning by Denji (he is 16 though, poor puppy), more Aki tugging at heartstrings, not a lot of Power unfortunately, huge ridiculous battle scenes, ridiculous scenes of adolescent humor (but which had me chuckling for minutes, sorry). After finally waking up to all the manipulating and mistreatment from all the adults in his life, Denji seems to be turning a new leaf.El hombre motosierra cabalgando un tiburón, una bomba sin bragas pero en el siguiente panel con ellas (ay, Fujimoto), un ángel salvando a otro ángel y mi waifu saliendo de entre un montón de ratas (ay, qué asco, Makima).

In North America, Viz Media published the series' first two chapters on their Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine for its "Jump Start" initiative.

As I'm mostly just reading it to look at pretty pictures at this point, I wish the art was a bit more developed. Just like the rest of Chainsaw Man, the surprises keep coming, the deaths are sudden, and the action is off the walls. On December 19, 2020, it was announced that the second part, "School arc" ( 学校編, Gakkō-hen), would feature Denji going to school. The series' first part, "Public Safety arc" ( 公安編, Kōan-hen), ran in Shueisha's shōnen manga anthology Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 3, 2018, [1] [2] to December 14, 2020; [3] [4] following the series' conclusion in Weekly Shōnen Jump, a second part was announced to start on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ online magazine. feeling into "ohhhhhh nooooooooooo" but it just serves to make me hope for a happy ending for Denji.
