In the summer of 2020, the club launched an evolution of our brand identity and unveiled an updated ‘Ready’ crest which displayed our core ‘READY’ message in a new, modern way. ‘Ready’ has always had significant meaning in the club’s history. For the anniversary, ‘Forever Ready’ will be the message that unites everything we do as a club to celebrate 150 incredible years – and fittingly, Rangers enter this milestone year as Champions of Scotland for a World Record 55th time. It was a clever strategic move from Rangers and Castore, as it came shortly before the start of a MyGers open training session at Ibrox. The Ibrox side will officially celebrate their anniversary in March 2022 - becoming the first major European club to reach 150 years. A 150th anniversary Fan Village will be created at Ibrox stadium for the Aberdeen, Weekend of Legends, and Celtic fixtures, with a wide range of activities planned for all the family. The Fan Village will include a number of activations, including live entertainment, a pop-up museum exhibition and football activities. Rangers Chairman, Douglas Park, commented: “Rangers are today delighted to unveil our 150th anniversary crest – the first major milestone as we count down to the celebrations of being the first major European club to reach such a landmark.March 2022 is a focal point of our 150th anniversary celebrations, and we look forward to collectively celebrating this prestigious milestone with our supporters around the world, but there is so much more to come including the opening of New Edmiston House and the much-anticipated museum, as well as the Blue Sky Lounge restaurant and hospitality suite in the Sandy Jardine Stand. To finish March in style, the Weekend of Legends, presented by Unibet, will take place on March 26 and will see the return of some our most-loved legends including Paul Gascoigne, Michael Mols and Sasa Papac.
