This bath seat is not suitable for use on anti-slip surfaces. This bath seat is not suitable for multi-level (split-level) baths. The only negative I would say is that because my daughter is a bit chunky I sometimes found it difficult to get my hands in to lift her out but I would think I would have that problem with most bath seats so it certainly wouldn't put me off.
