About this deal

The heart is supposed to be floral but once again the fruit, though comprised of only two notes, is the dominant accord. The whole thing becomes a cassis scent when the nectar scent begins to disappear. Before long a mimosa or something like a heliotrope flower scent emerges. I love mimosas and heliotropes and they smell the same in perfume as notes. The lilac scent joins the heliotrope-like mimosa. I get sweet pretty little flowery scents of two flowers I really enjoy: heliotrope and mimosa. The currant is still there to keep it fruity. It's soft and not at all an exaggeration of fruity floral scents.

Just like a glass of champagne, Yvresse entertains us with sophistication and intoxicating appeal. The incredibly unique blend of notes throughout makes this fragrance truly unforgettable. One of a kind. I am glad that Yves Saint Laurent YVRESSE was renamed from CHAMPAGNE--not because I agree with fastidious French law regarding the use of that quasi-sacred name, but because many people will not know that "ivresse" means "drunkenness", as opposed to "piles of damp sisal rugs" or "straw basket factory in the tropics," which would be far more apt names for the lengthy middle phase of this distinctive chypre perfume--were Demeter only able to isolate and capture those scents in a bottle! Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health. when Yves Saint Laurent Yvresse was launched, it was named Champagne. It wasn’t long before the Champagne lobby noticed and strong-armed YSL into renaming its new perfume. Whether Yvresse smells to you like Champagne or a bellini or a tropical fruit-scented viognier, you probably agree that its new name — a play on “ivresse”, the French word for intoxication — is a perfect fit. I get all the other comparisons---Chinatown but without the full dose of the chypre base; Femme, but with less cumin and more honey. But the real point of comparison to me is another Grosman work, Prescriptives Calyx. Calyx has all the fruit, all the rose, but a bit less sugar and more moss. Granted, a different flavor (guava v peach) makes for a qualitative difference, but compositionally, there’s much to compare. Calyx’s success is taking the fruitiest of fruit scents, one that you can almost taste (ripe guava) and balancing it with enough moss and dry rose to compensate for the sweetness, leaving a heady aroma with a spectacularly balanced drydown. Yvresse uses sweeter fruit, adds honey-like amber, uses a sweeter rose, and less moss. Yvresse does lose some of the sweetness as it ages, but what is left without the sweetness? It gets threadbare.Yves Saint Laurent Yvresse eau de toilette natural spray for women is a fresh and intense scent, opening with top notes of nectarine and lychee, blending with a heart of rose and violet blossom, all of which is rounded off with a smooth base of patchouli. Legere dries down to a hint of vetiver and moss. It's woodsy but delicate and even towards the end you still smell the fruit. I would classify this as a fruity floral fragrance mist. It's very very easy to wear and perfect as a spring and summer scent. It's fresh, it's light, it's sweet, it's youthful, airy, and delicious. It's a good fragrance to wear to the beach for a couple of hours, to a pool, that is if you're the type that hangs out by a pool wearing perfume on the chairs taking in some sunlight. This is a scent to enjoy on a cruise ship or sailboat, totally summery and fun. It doesn't make a statement. Yvresse opens very tart, fruity, strong and yes, fizzy. Whether you like the scent or not, the olfactory experience you witness is unlike anything you'll ever come across. I think i have never loved a fragrance this much. Right from the first time i smelled this I immediately fell in love, something about this captivated me! This is also one of the first non celeb perfume that i bought. This fragrance is a beauty all year around but definitely the best in summer and spring. During summer and spring the nectarine really has it’s main character moment , whilst in the winter and fall the violet has it’s main character moment.

AUTHORITY PRESCRIPTION

More like Sauternes than Champagne, but I don’t want to start another trademark issue for this fragrance. Yes, this has similarities to wine, but it seems much more like a sweet dessert wine than anything else. And, yes, there is a chypre base to Yvresse, but overall the fragrance is much more about fruitiness and sweet florals. A well-made sweet wine is one where all the fruit/honey/sweetness is balanced by a proper degree of acidity, though the acidity is a small element when compared to the sugar. The point is largely lost on me with dessert wines and I guess here as well. Going by the tester card I couldnt deal with this all day, but, in winter and layered Yvresse might perform differently. The apricot, nectarine and peach do come on rather strongly at first and in some ways the result could be described as sharp. It is actually this quality however that I enjoy. UPDATE (next day): well, this one is actually not bad, might be even enjoyable, but for those who have experienced the original one this one might not be enough. While original one was like a dance of champagne bubbles this one is more like a sad purple rain.

I’ve heard that Yvresse was inspired by Rochas Femme, and while they are both intimate, peachy chypres, Yvresse is not nearly as aggressive as Femme, and if you didn’t know that Yvresse had a touch of cumin like Femme does, you probably wouldn’t notice it. Houbigant Aperçu is another chypre with peach, but I smell less sex and more demure rose in Aperçu than I do in Yvresse. Another scent that Yvresse reminds me of a little is Ines de la Fressange, but the Ines doesn’t have the same bubbly opening and feels a little more soapy and wholesome to me. Some drugs may have Authority Required (Streamlined) status which does not require an explicit approval from Medicare, instead the doctor can use the Authority code found in the published Schedule for a given drug/indication. The note of Peach is the Champagne she sips from that matches the Liquid luster of gold Bed sheets in a Luxurious Red & Gold Penthouse overlooking 5th Avenue On New Years Eve, As Yvresse dries to the middle the Innocent The original was a real powerhouse in sillage and longevity and the Collection version is to be sprayed with consideration too. Personally I use too sprays max, and even one spray is enough if you want to use this on an everyday basis. I wouldn't call this office safe, more of a special moment scent. (Which to me can mean anything from a happy day off work or a big festivity) The collection bottle will last you a long time. Yvresse’s overall feel is light and joyful, but I wouldn’t call it simple. Yvresse is like a ballerina, disciplined and intellectual, but making her art seem easy and natural, unpredictable, and in the end inevitable. Yvresse isn’t necessarily easy to wear, either. Yvresse might seduce you initially with its tingling fruit and mint, but if you aren’t up to the complexity of a chypre, or if oakmoss and patchouli turn fetid on your skin, you might be better off turning to a crisp, clear bouquet of spring flowers for a celebratory scent.

It's feminine and delightful, lifts my mood and is sweet and bubbly yet elegant..it's not fresh, but is kind of summery,I'm going to wear it year round as soon as I buy a bigger bottle, also I'm going to look for original yvresse

This fragrance is definitely a head turner. It’s super juicy and fruity whilst also being powdery and sophisticated. It’s definitely more of a mature fruity fragrance. It almost smells like you are somewhere very tropical. Like a beach or even a rainforest If you love original "Yvresse" but find it too loud sometimes to wear then this one would be your perfect match. It is truely light and warm weather friendly. The rose is barely there. The focus is mimosa, peach, lilac anc possibly freesia/lily? Its almost aquatic and a little goumand. There is a small chypre accord of patcholi, oakmoss and a whisper of vetiver on a most fragile base of sandalwood/cedar. It lasts about 3 hours with minimal projection. When my husband and I bought Grandma's house last year and my mother-in-law cleaned out the basement, a rare find was found in one of the basement rooms. There was a separate room in the basement just for Grandpa and his worn horse clothes, riding pants, etc. Grandma wanted it that way.... My mother-in-law actually found a small bottle of Yvresse among all the clothes. Since the bottle was still well filled, she probably thought it was too bad to throw it away. And that was a good thing. So where to put the bottle she found? Sure, off to the daughter-in-law, who has such a soft spot for fragrances. Well my mother in law knows me ;-)

MULTIPLE PACKS

There are a lot more notes in this than what's written on the side of the bottle (or on Fragrantica) that's for sure! Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS. UPDATE: (30.april 2013) after wearing it several times i came up to conclusion that this is not a good one. The opening is very powdery mimose, for my nose is not pleasant at all and very simple. Then it just dissapeares after 20 minutes and stays very close to the skin, almost undetectable. No, not my taste at all. I have compared the original "Champagne" and "Yvresse legere" on both wrists and "Legere" is the looser for sure in this fight. The scent of "Legere" is actually the less intensive drydown of the original "Champagne". I can´t even call them similar fragrances at all, this is not a lighter version of the original, this is different version, different scent. While i can´t take my nose off the "Champagne" wrist, i smell almost nothing on "legere" wrist. I would compare them like a couple of people with similar interests, that start to live together and share some similar hobbies, tastes etc, but in general they still have thier own hobbies that are quite different from each other. Unmarried couple wiling to get married but can´t make it due to mutual dissagreement. :)
